ok just gone back out and they put the mouthwash away...not sure why, guess thet ran out
how do i unexpire this? it's still happening. i'll go take a photo if you like..?
no it was outside in an evening standard stand
Was it in a WH Smiths in a train station? Possible they will be doing it at airports if it is.
This is Good. This mouthwash usually costs like £2-£4.
The recent weather is ruining all of my umbrellas. Everytime a strong wind comes along, I get Mary Poppins-ed and have to get a new umbrella. I'll try and look out for these. What a good idea.
I bought one of these one side of Tower Bridge, By the time I got over the other side of the bridge it was in tatters. Very lightweight, certainly not worth a trip for. It _is_ about 50p's worth. Rubbish.
Does anyone know if you have to pick up the umbrella today? Haven't got much time.....Thanks!
my hubby got one last time but it blew inside out last week and broke  ok for a light shower but no good if it's blowing a gale
Just bought a ES paper for 50p and got the ES umbrella free outside Monument Stn...as it's raining everyone is asking him how much the Umbrella costs to stay dry rather than caring about his newspaper....he could easily make a small fortune rather than giving it away with the paper!
Someone was shouting something similar in Piccadilly Circus, on the corner of Regent Street (next to Virgin) on Wednesday.
Got one yesterday at Canary wharf
only near *select* stations
I got one on Wednesday the night of the England game - Didn't even read the paper... Also don't expect too much from a free umbrella, the wind came along and literally blew the umbrella away - I was still holding on to the handle!
This trial is full access to the whole paper, including magazine supplements.
ok, sorry, thought you were asking in general
Im not paying. Its a free trial. Usually you dont get the whole thing in a free trial
the whole paper. Would you pay for the front page???!!!!
Is this the whole paper or just the front page?
no more left, it seems. but thanks for the post.
This is my first post and its late so take pity! i went to see this film for free thanks to hotukdelas and i seriously advise anyone who can go for free to go! its a pretty good film! i had to pretend to the girlfriend that i wasnt that interested cos it is quite girly but it really is a great film! and the major plus point is naomi watts!
hmmm...not too sure boonkoh...i'll give it a shot.. Edit: ok did that boonkoh....got the same message...I guess we'll only find out if we get email confirmation (not that it mentions there being any form of confirmation) or the tickets arrive on our doorsteps. N.B. it is a competition after all so maybe we'll never know lol GOOD LUCK ANYWAY!!!!
Hmm.. I followed the link to the website, and followed the "click here" link... logged in.. and then it asked me which movie I would like to see... the choice was between Last King of Scotland and Lord of the Rings. The code was asked for... so just taking a random stab at it I entered in IMAX, and to my surprise the next page I got said "thank you for entering the competition, blah blah blah" So is the code actually IMAX, or does everyone get the congrats page regardless of code?
Good for anyone in London :) with prices so high - every penny counts!
DRAT! i totally forgot about this  .....did anyone get the relevant code in todays evening standard? BTW...totally different topic (I'm too lazy to write a whole new post....) free bite card (paper not plastic version) in todays thelondonpaper and Lite! (good for 20% off at various food shops at railway stations)
I read one newspaper every day, plus a local newspaper when I am out in the afternoon and remember to get one! :giggle: I wouldnt have the time to read 4! Will add you to the list, no need to bribe me, but now that you've offered.... :)

Do wat?, As it 'appens, knock it on the 'ead, apples n pears apples n pears, didn't you kill ma bruvva?
I like the nostalgia thing. Inspite of the police attitude being exagerated. The whole premis of the story is the coma thing, but once they've turned it into any old excuse for a bit candid retro Sweeney satire it just starts to wear a bit thin for me. I'm not sure if i'd just rather watch the Sweeney.
its only been the first episode;-) unless you watched the second on BBC4.. stick with it it will all become clear, like those big orange and yellow(SELNEC) buses.. oh happy days :-D
