Thomas Cook Flash Sale - San Francisco - 500 seats at £299.99 RETURN! (24 Hours only!) @ Thomas Cook Airlines
Thomas Cook flash sales are back! Boston flash sale was very popular, and I'm guessing this one will be too

Remember to wear flowers in your hair...some example dates below. Flights are from Manchester in May 2017, with a few dates also in June.
Sale is valid for 24 hours, but I doubt these will last that long! You might need to search via the flight finder on the homepage.

Yep, seat choice is an option, no need to add £40 to your booking, and as others have mentioned £15.75 Topcashback as well

I can't seem to get them to come up for this price?? What dates did you booked if you don't mind me asking as I am looking to book for May 2017 as well.

I've booked 21st May 2017 - 4th June 2017, I've just checked and they are still available @ £299.99 just make sure you fly from Manchester to San Fran and on one of the dates the OP put in the first post
Try again, they are still available.... non stop flights, Manchester to San Fransisco, on one of the dates the OP put in the first post.. Good Luck
Who bother, just go to H&M and buy everything new after you landed.
Donate them before your return.
It might cost you less if it's summer time.
What dates?

Includes
1 x 23 kg hold baggage
1 x 6 kg cabin baggage

I don't I have just paid £530 for mine with TC. A sale would make me mad!!!
Stick with Boston. A lot more history and SF is expensive.
I took one years ago and it cost then about £75. I'm sure they will be doing lots of flights to L.V. You can drive it in a day though although it's around 500 miles or so. It's a long drive of around 9 hours as I remember.....
Try looking on airbnb.com - plenty of accommodation to choose from and I find that it offers better quality than the hotels at a fraction of the cost.. All hotels in SF charge an additional City Tax on top of the published nightly price.
As you did not reserve seats, after you booked, do you get seats assigned to you, or is it first come first served? I would imagine the latter to be chaos on a packed long haul flight like this.
You're usually assigned seats. Majority of the time two persons will be next to each other, or very close.
What kind of holiday do you want?
Obvious 2 choices are:
Fishermans Wharf - for touristy things
Union Square - for more city type experience
TBH It's a small city - I've walked from the Wharf area to City Hall the long way (via Coit Tower, Union Square, Market Street) and it wasn't too rushed. As long as you stay somewhere sensible then you will be fine.
