I looked at this last week when it was just short of £11. I left it as it gets dreadful reviews but it is a cracking price if you want it, so hot from me. Interested in what anyone thinks of it though?

Well i bought one last week from boots for £4.80 as my daughter keeps getting up too early and i though brill...thankfully i didnt pay full price
First up its battery operated..Second the night light only lasts about 30mins and the switch on is on the back which is quiet fiddly to find for small hands..Thirdly its not a proper clock with only having one hand on it and mine is hit and miss if it works properly and cunningly my daughter has found the override switch on the top to change the image ..
So in my honest opinion i really wouldnt bother buying it unless you like the looks of it and it gets even cheaper.
Not voting cold as it is half price and just because i dont like it doesnt make it a poor deal.

Yip, likewise think it's a great deal but your comments are pretty much what I've heard/read. Loads of them seem to not work, certainly very accurately, eats batteries and with only one hand, can't really use it as time teaching. Thanks for your thoughts, think I'll stick with the decision to give it a miss. Cheers.

I bought the thomas night light and torch that was out before this and still on sale at Argos. It sits in the same base as this and charges at the mains. I have left the night light on overnight loads of times and is still charged in the morning.
What a shame they seem to have messed up with this new addition, i can't understand why this doesn't come with charger also.
