Sounds good to me!

If you love chocolate and don't care what form it comes in (e.g. easter eggs / bunnies etc), then this is a top deal... i'd be tempted to melt it down and use for cooking, baking, or chocolate fondu etc as this would taste much better than cheaper chocolate.

the red box should be 16.95 that is how they do it here, total to pay up front...

Still seems expensive for a kilo of chocolate to me, 'better quality' or not, especially when you're unlikely to be giving it away for a specific gift, and will just end up eating it yourself. Not knocking the quantity, just the price.

Totally agree but this must be a 'quiet' time for them as we are past Mother's & Father Day and Easter etc. It's now holiday season so they are getting rid of stock close to the sell buy date (you've got 8 weeks to consume it). It makes sense, but you are right unless you have some birthdays to give this lot away as presents, you'll end up eating it yourself but great for the chocoholics out there

No problems re duplicate, paulhollio. It was posted a couple of months ago but froze (probably due to high P&P)!!

I have adjusted the title and the total upfront cost. As dd011f7630 says, you need to include all unavoidable costs. As the code works, I have quoted the price using it.

There is 8% cashback from Quidco/TCB.

As others say, seems expensive at what works out at £1.55 per 100gms, when you do not know what you are even getting, especially as lots of it seems to be old easter stock that mosts shops have almost given away...........

voted hot, but whether I actually go for it or not .... hmmm..... don't know

End of season rubbish, chocolate never goes out of season!

prefer dairy milk
special toffee is nice though

Thanks for this, just spent a fortune and now bang goes the diet for a another week or two

Quidco may not be acknowledged as using another voucher here so don't expect to receive the 8% back, it may get declined.

your welcome.

The after Christmas box for £15 was absolutely fantastic btw

On same page as the deal posted, there is 200gms of mis-shapes for £1.99.
To me, if all you want to do is eat the chocolate yourself, then that seems a better deal as using my fingers it works out at less than a tenner for a kilo. Presume you'll get variety in flavours to keep you sweet.

Can you just use one promotional code?

just ordered some, yum

could end up with liquor or nuts so take your chances

Perfect for the fatty fatty fat fats.

yes got that too but they ran out so offered me 2 smaller hampers upto the full RRP got a choc and sweet one excellent,
this is still a bit pricy for a kilo as if you look at what is in the supermarkets

and also the glitch that was posted here last week 333g BOGOF with the "etra discount bringing an £8 box down to £1.32 i think, qualled nearly 4kg for the same price

you may get lucky but a kilo is not many boxes of chocs or eggs and does state may be short dated

Yummy!

Good deal, better deal 3* discounted easter eggs (610g of chocolate each) at £5 each giving a total of £15. Then add code SHDE.

Birthday and presents for the decent teachers ..... The one that has made my wee one cry twice in a week will get zilch !
Any left overs for us

Blimey, the code for free box of 350g chocs -> SHDE <- makes this an even better deal.

I'm not buying because a. I don't like Thorntons produce and b. I HATE the toffees which always appear at the bottom of the box.

The mis-shapes give better value for money. £1 per 100g compared to £1.50 per 100g

I'm not happy, just a bunch of easter eggs turned up!!!! grrrrrrrrrr I wouldn't mind but sent it to someone as a present- really not happy with Thorntons!!!

Two lovey eggs, kids happy
One for dad fathers day thing
Two heart chocolates suitable as small birthday / teacher present
Big box of heart choccies - me or a decent teacher
Free box of choccies saving for when I have a dinner party
Very pleased
