O2: RPI plus 3.9%.
EE, Vodafone: Consumer Price Index plus 3.9%.
The date of the adjustment also varies by provider:

What is Sim only?
SIM only is just that, where you only pay for the minutes, texts, and data you use on your sim-card.
You will have to supply your own device i.e phone/tablet to insert the sim-card into, hence why it's called 'sim only'

Please compare apples with apples. Yours is a pear.
No, it’s in the middle of my house, but on the top floor.
I don’t use it as a router, it’s in bridge mode (modem only) and the Wi-Fi is turned off.
Bizarrely, I got consistently faster speeds with the antennas pointing straight back.
I got it reconditioned on Amazon for £85. Probably the same listing you are looking at. Was the only 1 at a reasonable price that clearly stated it could do bridge mode.
Cheapest I've found lately with data roll over ...

Went with Smarty in the end after lowering my expectations about what to expect with Three and it's been fine so far. I can stream what I usually stream without any problems so it's worth it until something better comes along.
I've heard pears are better for you "" that's doctors orders
I don't listen to rumours.
But unlimited data with o2 is something ridiculous like £34 pm!
Literally 5 paces away from my front window and i get this ..
But then I'm not too bothered as I'm at home and i'm always on Wifi at home anyway. It works well enough when I'm out for Spotify e.t.c.. so it's worth the tenner a month.
You can roam in europe for £2 a day if you upgraded or took out a new contract after 1/10/2021. Im still on my old contract and just come back from majorca and poland and havent been charged any extra
Hi, is that 5G data?
Was there an unlimited ( 5G?) data deal with EE recently... Looks like I missed it!
I did that recently with a D-Link single channel router....sadly it was hopeless. Any recommendations on a decent 4G router?
I am testing the ZTE MF286D.
60-80 down, 20-30 up.
Better than my 35/6 BT line.
No issues so far, another week and I’ll cancel my BT line.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Those are respectable speeds. Are you having to lean outside a window to get these speeds, as others have hinted?
Also can I ask how much you paid and where you bought it from . A quick check on Amazon shows some very mixed reviews for this product at approx £85. Of course there might be some "user error"!
Ends in May. I've switched to O2 after nearly 20 years with 3.
Blaming Brexit is an easy copout, they offered the service (in more countries than EU legislation requires) before the EU implemented EU roaming for networks.
Yes, the deal I got is 5G
There had to be at least one with decent speeds! Congratulations 😁
It only takes effect on April 1st.
I'm currently with superdrug who piggy back the 3 network. They haven't announced any roaming charges as of yet
From 23 May 2022, customers who have taken out a new or upgraded contract after 1 October will have to pay £2 a day to use their monthly allowance of minutes, texts and data in the EU.
Smarty (a three subsidiary) reckon they aren't reintroducing them at the moment.
Great when it works. But it doesn't often work.
Someone on another thread recommended Huawei B535
They have some great SIMO deals, they piggy back on O2 network and guarantee no price increases for the contract duration - and have free roaming!

Thanks again for your response and additional context. You seem to have quite the network setup!
Yes the antenna positioning seems counter intuitive....but if that works best, then...
Plus, as the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words.
Maybe I am wrong, but only o2 are including roaming FOC.
Unlimited data plan on o2 is £34 pm.
Still significantly cheaper to stick with Three.
Netgear MR1100
Cat 16
2.4ghz & 5ghz
You'll want to buy a used from ebay though.
What people don't appreciate is you can have a fast sim... but you need the router to match.
