Been fighting with three to keep my current plan for 15 quid a month, I am on the old essential plan so no netflix, limited countries, no tethering etc. They told me today the absolute best they could do was 18 a month for this advance plan as i now want tethering. Went to cancellations department who also wouldnt budge... I said no, they gave me a PAC code while telling me how valuable I was to them as a customer....

Anyway done some research and found this deal! the same as they were offering but with £40 cash back after 99 days, so works out at £14.66 a month (unless im terrible at maths). Pretty good with the Wuntu, netflix, whatever else. To be honest, im just happy i beat them at their own game.

Done some of that today myself. Got my pac and looking around. Tempted by Virgin, at the moment. 30 days the clock is ticking.

I was using the virgin offer for leverage earlier when arguing with three... Wouldn't tell them but wuntu does come in hand occasionally (mainly Costa).
My experience with Three seems to be much different than anyone else. Every now and then I get bored at work and decide to ask for a better deal through live chat or complain about something. I either come away with a better deal, £5 off my bill or £10 off my bill. I'm currently on a 30GB plan for £9pm. Includes tethering and 600mins.
My wife and daughter got unlimited calls / texts with 8 Gbit for £10 a couple of weeks ago. I was with them but decided to to go to plusnet mobile for a similar deal which includes tethering.
netflix? they give it away wIth certain plans?
Re: Netflix
Only available when you take out a new contract Samsung
I tried asking for it as an extra on my SIM only contract but no-go.

Is that a free subscription to Netflix or just free data when streaming Netflix?
I believe it's a free subscription as go binge means free streaming out with your data allowance

I was tempted until they said no tethering.
Not sure they do free subscriptions... but Advanced plan you can watch Netflix without using your data
