I am currently in the market for a SIM only contract.

Affordable mobiles are currently offering the following deal:

Three advanced 30GB SIM ONLY + AYCE MINS/TEXTS.

£18 per month.

£40 automatic cashback into your bank after 90 days. This brings the price down to £14.66 per month.

£26.25 topcashback. This brings the price down to £12.48 per month.

This is an advanced sim only so tethering and feel at home are included.

Yes, but if you ask 3 they will tell you it's a different sim thats required, make sure you change Netflix to SD so the data isn't counted. pm me if you want to know anymore.

Quick question, what do you mean "change Netflix to SD (so data isn't counted.)?"

Is this something only with Three and specific contracts or available on all three contracts?

Hot!
Is this the plan that allows you to use your data for tethering and use your data outside of the EU, in places like the USA and Australia?
I know they do two different plans with one that doesn't offer either. Nearly fell for that, when I saw a good deal on the Nokia 8 on the Affordable Mobiles website.
I'm currently on Three on a 12GB plan that's just coming to end of 12 month contract, and this is very tempting, but I guess I won't be able to switch number directly to a new Three contract?
Just thinking if I sign up to the Plusnet mobile deal for a month at £8ish with 3GB of data, that was on here the other day where you get a £20 Argos voucher, port my number to them...
Then sign up for this Three Plan here, and get a new number. I can run both SIMs in my dual SIM phone, then after a month (once I've got the Argos voucher), port my existing mobile number back to Three from Plusnet...
Would that work or does someone know an easier way to keep my number and get a good deal?
Using the data outside of the EU and being able to tether to my iPad or laptop is important to me.
(I know you can't tether when roaming.)

USA is included in the three feel at home list of countries but it is unclear if you can use your data for tethering abroad... it states on the three site that you can use up to 13GB of data from your allowance but does not state whether it can be used for tethering abroad...

Standard tethering is allowed on this plan as it is an advanced plan.

You could phone three and see if they will give you the sim any cheaper... alternatively you could just port your number to a sim only and then port it back to three on this plan?
Very appealing
When it mentions tethering and feel at home? What exactly is “feel at home” with three?

Feel at home is a benefit of an advanced plan on three... allowing you to use your allowance abroad in around 71 destinations at no extra cost.
Quidco paying £25 cash back on SIM only + just got an email about the £5 bonus cash back on any qualifying purchases. Might be worth looking into?
Great deal. Just cancelled with EE so this could well be the simo I'm after. Heat added
