Take the spaces out these links in hotukdeals keeps on breaking the link

Next steps.
1. Insert SIM.

Once you know which SIM card size your device needs, pop out the correct one from your trio SIM and insert it into your device. It's that simple.
2. Register for free data.

To register for your free 200MB make sure you read the details on your SIM pack before throwing the packaging away.
3. Top-up.

It's easy to top-up on Three. Simply buy a voucher from any shop in the UK where you see the green top-up symbol, top-up online, or call 0333 300 0500 (standard rates apply).

321 sims used to give free data every top up, this is much better

The links don't take you anywhere so i did it without it.
Thanks, hope it works

So does that mean you *have* to top up? Sounds like it

If this is the "data only" SIM then to add credit online you go to add International Credit and it acts as normal credit, I topped up by £2 iirc and I've still got most of it left 5 months later... With all the free WiFi around, WhatsApp, Skype etc, that 200mb is more than enough to fill the gaps for me..

I've put an alarm and a restriction at 195mb on the phone and it's never gone off yet..

They still work as 321 anyway...

Just need to activate the 3 other SIM cards so I get more free coffee from Wuntu...!!!

You can use it in a phone. Can you top up like a normal sim then? Might get this for my mum!

Of course, you need to top up all pay as you go sims, and use every so often to avoid disconnection
Edited by: "Harley_Mick" 7th Dec

Been doing these for a couple years now and as @Dingls says you can stick a couple of quid on at a time and use at 321 rates, excellent kid's SIM. I originally got a load to take to the States on holiday.

One thing you do lose over a proper 321 SIM is these have no voicemail if that' important to you.

Not always the same top up bundles as the 321 which can work out better.

That's what I'm using right now....

@Harley_Mick and @TK2013 yes, and as I said you can top up by as little as£2, I've had 4 free Costa coffees so far with the Wuntu app so I'm well up on the "outlay".. plus wasting 1 or 2p every 6 months wouldn't be a chore.
.

I use a 321 sim as a home phone, keep my own numbers for personal use, give the 321 number to companies, save cold calls etc. If I need to contact them back I just withold my number from my personal phone.

dont forget this also works with the wuntu offers, even better

you dont even need to add money, just use the data to activate wuntu, take sim out of phone and use with your other sim, even on other companies 4g the app still loads the offers

Great sim. Use for in car WiFi for android headunit plus take a few overseas to use for mifi. And gifted my mum one who has very little mobile use but can have WhatsApp messages when she's out and about. Says she's still got £17 left of £20 after 6months. I know it's not for everyone but a good cheap SIM for non data low use users.

Been posted many times though.

Can you use an old three sim in an ipad to get wuntu working! Then take out and put another sim or just wifi! Seems like a good idea

Not sure about iPads but we have it in 4 iphones we use the sims for when we are on holiday and only one of them has ever been used in the UK. The auntie app update on both WiFi and other 4g, was worried the first time it might block it but works a treat. While you are on get a o2 one fir the occasional priority offers not as good as wuntu but had a few over the years. With o2 you need the number to activate though as they send a code by text but still works.

Just the once, send a text every 6 months to stay active.

Can you make an receive calls with these type of sim?

Right but most shops have a £5/£10 top up voucher right? I've used 02 Sims before without having to top up a penny - just for people to call me or for 02 priority. I thought this was the same but with the 200mb. Shame

If you have no credit on it, I presume the 200MB just stops when you reach the monthly limit?

I got one of these in March I think, no problems registering and getting free data every month.
I tried to get another in October and the sim didn't go through the register process and told me I had no free data and needed to top up. I didn't do anything different from the first time, clean phone no previous 3 details.
I might try again if I can be bothered.

Don't they suspend the number if you have not made calls/texted in 6 months?

Yes easy to top up locally, not sure if £5 or £10 minimum

Agreement
We may suspend or disconnect our Services if we reasonably believe
that you haven’t complied with certain terms of your agreement.
If within a 6 month period you have not (i) activated a Pay As You Go
Voucher on your account or (ii) made any chargeable events or activities
(for example, made telephone calls, sent text or photo messages,
accessed content or the internet or any other Three Services for which a
charge is made), we may also suspend our Services or disconnect you.

OP lists this as a free SIM, isn't it £20?

you dont have to make any calls as its a data sim, we have had some of ours for over 6 months and used it only for data and they are still going. If you are using it for just the wuntu you dont even need to use 3 data to make the sim work.

If you use traditional payasyougo then you might as well have the free data! Someone said something about voicemail? Is that true
