Maybe so but you receive a text when you're nearing your allowance then again when you've used your allowance. Not sure but I think you can set restrictions so you never go over.

Brilliant for a low user like me, I hardly

Of course it is not a trap, they make no secret of the charges for over allowance data or minutes.
Am I right in thinking that most phones have the facility to set limits so you know when you are about to go over your allowance? I know mine does.
For a low user like me this is a fantastic deal.

Up there for comment of the year. How is that different to any other company and if you don't use more than the allowance then isn't it a good deal.

Great deal, pity I get a poor reception with three where I am though.

Actually You can cap your allowance on Three. Your data is capped by default and you can cap your minutes as well if you want to. I can't really see the trap aspect of this.

Don't do it, don't feed the troll!

How does the £5 cash back work?

500mb of data wouldnt last 10 minutes

They've got an app called Three in Touch, it lets you make calls and send texts over WiFi. Still counts towards your allowance, but useful for poor reception areas.

For light users it`s quite good.:). Obviously for 14 year olds watching YouTube Beyonce videos on their mum`s sim contract, it`d be depleted rather quickly, yes. (_;)

Data usage is not defined by time but by consumption. Equally 4Gb would not last 10 mins (if I max out my 4g connection).

If you only want to check your emails, read a few web pages and use Google maps once in a while then 500mb will be plenty.

If you stream any kind of service on a regular basis then it is pretty obvious you will need more.

Might as well just use Three's PAYG SIM, probably be better off for a very low user.

I'd of though for a low user their 321 payg plan would make more sense.

Three allow you to cap data via their website. I'm currently on a £9 per month sim and when I log into the site, look under the "Allowance", "Control Your Spending" and you should get options to not go over your data/minute allowance

Mind it's only a quid more for 250 mins and 1GB data with EE. I just got that one as Three pants in my area.

Utter rubbish. I use less than 300mb a month out of my 1gig allowance. But then I don't watch porn on buses...

Cheers op... Just the ticket for my wife... she says tex so much!

Very good deal if you are a low user.

100 mins actually....if you were to stream Netflix on its lowest bit rate that is.

Wifi calling can now also be used without the app if you enable wifi calling on your phone in settings

Agreed with the other three customers saying it's rubbish for signal. Even though we live in an urban area, my OH is often on emergency calls only while I get full bars on o2.

Can you make a Wi Fi call from a mobile phone to a landline number?

Three unlike most other providers will cap your contract so you cant use anything outside of your allowance, excellent if you have one for your kids.
