Three existing customers: 18GB Data add-on For £5

Currently on 600mins unlimited texts and 12gb data advanced plan and I noticed I could add 18GB Data for £5 on a rolling month by month in the mythree app

So that would be 600mins unlimited text and 30gb data for £17 per month.

The 18GB Data add-on lets you connects your devices to the internet in the UK using your phone. It costs £5.00 per month and will remain on your account until you ask to remove it. In the first month you will be charged the full monthly amount and receive the whole Personal Hotspot allowance, regardless of when you purchase the add-on.

Data is not rolled over.

Only 4GB for £5 showing for me
Haven't got it on mine either, what kind of plan are you on?
Not on mine either 🤔🤔🤔
Nor I. Hmm.
Just seems to offer me personal hotspot Addons, but I do get 30gb a month anyways
Account specific....I got told about some similar but my figures were lower data for more money
Mine showing AYCE Data add on for £5
I got unlimited data for £3 going back about 4 years ago
4GB @£5 for me. Isn't it that normally? - I've had to use it in the past.
I've got the 18gb for £5. But my 12 are enough for now.
4GB for £5 for me too. Worth the heads up though, thanks.
What you get for £5 depends on what contract you are currently on.
Offers me 18GB for £5 too. But already used my PAC code as I'm moving to BT with their quidco/Amazon voucher deals for 12 months.
For reference I was on the 200 mins, unlimited text and 12gb data plan with Three.
I have the option of 250mb for £2.50 or 18gb for £5.00. 🤔🤔🤔
I'm sure I'm paying £3 for an unlimited (fair use of course) data add on... Is this because I'm on an old contract or something?
Whilst we're all talking about our allowances; I was on 300mins, AYCE Txts and 500mb data; I called them to complain that I dont feel I was getting value for money and they upped my data to 2gb per month for the same price. Seemingly not as good a deal as some of you but it's worth moaning!

same.. I moved over last month.. three tried to make me stay and offered me unlimited mins texts 30gb data for 15£ per month.. but their coverage is horrible so I declined it
My contact is ending on the 24th and might move to EE. I also have the offer a available. Can't upload but options are 18gb for £5 or 250mb for £2.50
These are priceplan dependent - I'm on Advanced 4GB/Unlimited £10 a month & I can get another 4GB for £5, after purchasing that I get a further option of 18GB for another £5 etc it works out if I buy all 3 £5 short term data options for £25 a month I get unlimited data, 30GB hotspot.

The 250MB is a hangover from when Three started - it was the 3 Email add on, it was renamed years ago (including data for internet) when (free 3Mail)and other mail apps was discontinued for X series. I think it's actually changed name twice if I recall.

I'm on 600 mins, unlimited texts, 12GB data for £10 a month!
Retention deal?

Might look to do a bit of renegotiation as my old deal is 600/Unlimited/8GB for £12

They offered me that but admitted it was an Essential deal without hotspot, Go Binge and feel at home. I just went for BT because I knew coverage was fine where I work and live. Plus the amazon vouchers add up nicely!

In fairness I went to Three last summer as my wife and I were going to New Zealand and USA for 5 weeks. It was amazing using our allowances as normal during that time and it was faultless. Service wasn’t too bad in Swansea and where I live but their retention deals were quite poor even though their customer service reps would push very hard to make you stay!

As a payg customer you get £2 off a contract so bear that in mind for the future if you see a good Three plan. What's £1 a payg sim for a £24 a year sim only saving £23 up haha
