While browsing on Amazon I came on this offer of up to three free Audible books.

Choose from a different selection of free audiobooks EACH MONTH to be read on Alexa devices, titles available until last day of each month (after which they change). No Audible subscription or anything like that required - they just get read out on any suitable device.

There are three new Free audible books every month for anyone with an echo device. Just ask "Alexa what is free from audilble this month".

You can stream these to your phone and listen via headphones via the Alexa app but this only works while you are on the same network as Alexa.

Well scrub that. It might only work if your a member of Audible (I left last month) or else they've removed this feature

Just do it via the Alexa app on your phone not the Audible app . Just say Alexa read"xxxxx"
