My family & I all used one of these each in USA for 2 weeks. It's maybe worth noting that data is capped at 12gb per month in the States. Heat!

Yes I would second that as currently using in New Orleans. Just be aware though that the package only covers calls home to UK and not local calls. Local calls - USA to USA will be expensive, around £1.40 per minute I think.
If buying this for use abroad - remember to activate it while in UK.
This applies for any new SIM you want to use, bought from a UK based mobile service provider
