Three Mobile (Existing Customer Deal) Mifi 20GB / £8pm x 24month = £192

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I'm an Three Mobile user and in the 'Existing Customer' offers section there is an offer for £8 per month Mifi with 20GB per month for 24 months.
Being Mifi it'll be Data Only.

While I appreciate 24months isn't something that everyone would consider I thought it was a pretty good deal. Could simply drop the SIM into a tablet.

Edit: Also, no up-front cost of the Mifi.
And even as a non-existing customer you can get it for £9 per month (still no up front cost of the Mifi)

Great deal OP - adding Huawei E5573bs-322, because I nearly reposted having not found on a search. Could you even add E5573 to the title (maybe replace the word mobile)? Credit for adding the monthly cost (HUKD total cost rules have caused me to learn my 24 times tables)!

Whilst 24m isn't ideal, having this for the car will save me so much phone battery because of tethering. Heat!
£55 Top Cash Back too.
I'm guessing (!) that you could use this SIM in a dial SIM phone... 20GB for £8 + whatever pay as you go SIM you fancy can't be bad.

I doubt they are going to give TCB on an existing customer deal.

Yup.

That's what I do
Has Go Binge too.

No data used for Netflix, Apple Music, TV Player et al.

They will. I took out a second contract on an existing customer deal and got cash back.

Why not just plug your phone into the cars power point if you're concerned about flattening the phone's battery whilst tethering in the car?

Tether, plus GPS plus charge plus in the window for direct sunlight plus music.. poor phone! Seriously though, it gets very hot and I'd rather not have a samsung GPS special.
They have been doing this deal for a while. They are not actually too fusyy about "being a customer" for the £8 deal. Just put in your number and most times it just accepts it.

Heat added
They have me on £9 a month for 20gig and go binge has just stopped, Mine used in the van and boat BUT saying that the 3 signal was saying low 4g and my BT sim in the phone was giving 4g+ so going to have a word with BT and had to my sims and see what they offer.

Wish they gave Spotify!
I just went through the whole process of online ordering to get this:
"Oops...
We've saved your order.
Unfortunately, your order was interrupted because of a system error. So we haven't processed it yet - but we've saved your details. There's no need to place your order again.
We will call you soon on the number you provided earlier to confirm and complete your order.
If the failure was as a result of a payment system error, we will send you an email to confirm that we'll get back to you."

Has anyone else got this and what is this error all about?

Same. I have me and other half both have one.

I use Tesco International Calling app. Get a £1 of credit when you sign up. Calls to landlines and texts are free, mobiles are 1p a minute. App uses your data connection to call! Your number shows up on the caller ID so nobody knows any different.

It's the 321 tarrif I think 2p min calls and 1p a text.

Wow! Perfect for teenagers, who don't use legacy voice comms anyway.
3p per minute, 2p per standard text.

About £11/m for genuinely unlimited data&txt + circa 600mins on a lesser 12m SIMO which probably makes a dual 24m £8/m 20GB + PAYG combination less attractive.

Have you tried a vent mount for your phone? You can even choose to have to air-conditioning blowing over it.

I have a quick q on Euro roaming. The t&c say a surcharge may be applied if, over a 4 m period BOTH the majority of time AND data consumption are outside the UK. Can anyone confirm from personal experience that if one leaves the sim connected to the uk network for the majority of the time, but uses all the data whilst abroad, that is treated as ok? It fits in the letter of the t&c, but probably not the spirit

Really don’t think they can say you went against Terms because you used little data per month whilst in the U.K. as long as your paying your bill, your major time would be in the U.K. and not roaming. It’s inclusive of both time and data roaming in set period, which the majority of time you would be in the U.K. I expect.

About £11/m unlimited data deal for 12m starts off as £10/m 8GB 12m deal (with £45 cashback opportunity) then priceplan change (not upgrade) to unlim data option. Earlier this year the starting point was 4GB deal, but same method is still applicable starting with the current 8GB option; see the earlier 4GB MO here:

Just try it. And certainly no issue to transfer your 3 PAYG number to 3 contract, either instore or online; even transfers the credit.

Regardless of interpretation: "if one leaves the sim connected to the uk network for the majority of the time" then simply download a couple of chunky files totalling sub-20GB each billing month that the sim is not going to be used outside UK.

It's available to everyone regardless of current customer (or not) status. You just need to quote an acceptable tel number on the pre-signup page, and I suspect it will be difficult to enter any standard 11-digit mob number that wasn't acceptable.
If you can reach the deal selection page on the 3 website, the "acceptable number" check is the first question asked.
HUKD links appear to corrupt the required deal webpage address on the 3 website, so you may need to c&p this text string after the usual three dot co dot uk :
/existing-customer-offers/mobile-broadband#?type=MiFi%26trade%3B%20and%20Dongle
or c&p the full 3 website URL from towards the top of this archive page: archive.is/rKUvG
