So be stern and tell them you want to cancel due to poor quality network and a few quid cheaper elsewhere, when they gather you are serious they will back down. When they lose a customer the staff lose bonuses, they'll do anything to keep you at Three.

And that is how I got my buffalo dumplings for 25 rupees in Delhi

What’s the glitch?
30GB looks tasty at £16.

What’s the glitch?

asking price is £18, OP's suggestion takes it down to £16. As an existing customer, they recently gave it to me for £15 (but, others have allegedly managed a better price)

That you can enter any mobile number instead of a 3 Mobile number.
Already on the the 100GB deal for £20 a month and that paid out £70 topcashback aswell.
jayonline854 m ago

What’s the glitch?

The bit where you are supposed to enter a three customer number but you enter any network number and it gives you a discount for being a three customer.

Probably the glitch is the deal is for existing customers only and you're not. So you benefit of cheaper prices, as you 'are' already with 3.
Order the sim card for example the 30gb for £16, wait a few days then call them to cancel due to bad signal they will bring price down even further £12-£14 a month

I got mine for £15 recently and had to haggle with another three employee for my brothers SIM upgrade for £15 too... if anyone got it for less than £15 I can only assume they had a very nice person on the other end of the phone

Ahh you get that all the time from ordering pizza to taking out a energy account. Most of the time they pay up especially the mobile and broadband companies.

Mine got paid for an upgrade, another glitch, I got & 65 paid out from tcb, so don't be put off, because it tracks and pays as usual.

To be fair, I was only paying £9 before that. Guess not a big enough spender to warrant giving me a 'special' deal
To be honest you are better off just doing live chat and getting deals. I got unlimited everything for £15 with 30gb hotspot.

Have you or anyone signed up to this with a non 3 number? If so fair enough.
I took similar deal few months earlier for £12 for 8 GB, after cash back of £55, It turns out £7 something. I would prefer below

I have been with Three for years now, never have I had to be "stern" when haggling, I think that if you are a loyal customer then they do try their best and generally do beat any other deals to keep you. If you've only just signed up or at the end of your first year, then maybe you have to haggle harder?
Didn't work for me, entered my number and it just spat back out the same offer!
The deal is over.
Where do you type the phone number?

+ cashback:)
I went for virgin 18£ month for 45gb 5000 mins and unlimited txt + 48 cashback. I think this deal ends today
Thing is, for 3 customers this is to add an extra contract to your existing one.
It's 90 cashback on topcashback works out effectively 10.50 a month awesome deal
I somehow don’t think they’re going to be overkeen to beat those £5 pm deals that a lot of us picked up a few weeks back!

I does say up to £90 on the Virgin deal, most ppl have £48 casback, I have to choose this or Virgin today, and Virgin has rollover data and no tethering limit

Exactly. I'm not really seeing the point.
What am I missing?
in my past experience, three and every other company that has call centres in india does not have them do the retentions bit. they get english or irish call centres to do that because it's a little more critical a job, the experience on that call will determine whether they retain a customer or not

Quite. You don't need to be stern, just be polite. I got exactly what I wanted by doing just that. I had been with them over 5 years, never missed a bill, they know I'm gonna stay on if I get what I want.

You may be right. In my live chat to an off UK site he had to keep me waiting some time when I asked for my requirements, clearly talking to another section to make the decision.

Actually, I’ve found it to be the best, and on both counts
I'm with three on unlimited date/calls/texts (30gb hotspot) for£19 a month so I can't really do much better...
