Can't decide if this is my best way to roam in the USA & USVI next May 2020.

Would save me having to change from Voxi, but would limit my use of texts (live without), Calls (Whatsapp though), and of course it's a different phone number (maybe that's a good thing whilst on holiday!)

Shame that whilst you can tether with this in the UK, you can't when abroad, so I cannot use my iPad and tablet that don't have SIM card slots to use this data. Seems odd, as it's not like you are using any different data (and it's my data to burn, once it's gone it's gone).
Great deal for this. I signed up for an Audible free trial and got a €10 voucher. £22.30 is a bargain!!

Intresting, I didn't know that, just found this online on the Three website:
"Tethering is supported on all plans in Go Roam in Europe destinations. However, data usage in the EU is limited to 19GB per month on all Pay Monthly plans and 15GB per month on Pay As You Go plans.

Tethering is not supported in Go Roam around the World destinations on any plans. However, you can purchase a Data Passport which offers unlimited data and tethering for £5 a day."

I agree with you mate, it's you're data, so you shoukd be able to use is as you like.
I'm not an expert so I can't say if they know if you're tethering or not, but whilst I was on ID which uses the Three network but doesn't allow tethering, I tethered all the time, and ID never contacted or charged me for it.
I bought the 12GB version of this as I was off to Sri Lanka which is supposed to be part of their "Roam around the world" and no one could get it to connect during the month I was there!! Queried this with 3 when I got home and was told that I should have phoned them for "support" - hahaha I said this is a data SIM and even if it was a phone SIM how could I call them if it would not connect???

Had exactly the same problem with this SIM in Crete. Works fine here in the UK.

Did you remember to enable 'Roaming' under the data settings in your phone of mifi device?
I've never had any problems whilst abroad but have helped a few Brits who also couldn't connect and didn't know they had to enable the roaming other networks option.
This isn't a plan though, it's payg and as far as I'm aware you Can use it in 71 countries, just not to tether

With their monthly plans you CAN tether as much as they allow (might be less than your full allowance), but not in payg.
I use one of these in a Mifi and dual sim phone and data is throttled in the US but works well. It should be set up and working in your device before you leave the UK

Yep, I second this, never had a problem abroad with it, but I have set it up in the UK 1st, and just use it as and when for the odd w/e away.

Yes thank you, I did. Actually checked with 3 before I went and had the manager of my local 3 store check when I got back. Both 3 before and 3 shop after said that the setup was as it should be.
Works fine for me throughout the world
Dam. Lightning deal. Ended already. 😔
