I think in light of the recent 3/£10/unlimited deal saga, all similar deals will pale into insignificance. Atleast for the next few weeks

Otherwise, good deal. Heat added
Word of warning the Three network sucks because they are rolling out 5g. I'm literally getting 0.1MB speed on 4g and have been for the past month

Mods - Can you show this as 12 month contract

The 12 month contract is the same price as the 24 month contract

**** Updated to show as 12 month deal ****
And there was me thinking they would put up prices to mitigate all the £10 glitch
Any e-mail address with ac.uk will bypass and allow you to order

Prob best to have a live chat with them and ask - I've heard that they can usually change to Unlimited Data if you reduce your Minutes bundle - Worth asking though.

As others have said go onto live chat. Sometimes they put unlimited data on for an extra £2 or in exchange for minutes.
That £16 looks tasty to be honest 12 months lock in.
I currently have two sim contracts that are on 30 days only paying £5 waiting for that horrible letter/email making me pay more.
Yh I just got this via phone was gonna post

It does
This was £18 per month yesterday, I took a screenshot when I was showing my pals 38365671-GH8Jn.jpg
Great deals with Three, but if reception in your area is poor it really makes a difference.
Three has always been awful where i live, i have complained countless times, told them to upgrade the mast etc, At best they gave me a £5 credit.
But internet speeds are very slow compared to say Virgin 4g. And i miss so many calls because my phone isn't connected.

If you are not sure what your area is like, get a free PAYG sim, and just see what its like.

It's the same with all networks at the moment and it was the same when they rolled out 4G

As long as you paid them both the minimum wage

Yes, you can stuff any sim, in any device that is sim unlocked and use all the features of the plan as normal

That might have been the case if it was fake 5G, like it is on EE & VodaFone, but 3 is not using the old 4G LTE network to provide 5G accross it!

It is likely that your local mast and / or network solutions signal is duff, turn the phone off with the sim card removed, for at least 14 mins, pop the sim back in, turn it on, let it do its thing, go into settings, then network settings, then reset it to factory, restart the phone, let it do its thing, turn on airplane mode, then turn it off again, go to "search for network" ensuring that you have "4G preferred" ticked/checked, choose Three, let it re-register for a few mins, restart your phone, go to speedof.me and see how it is then...

All that fails, you need level 2 signal solutions team at 3, get them to reset the 4G to your device, from the mast

If you google down detector for Three you'll see the UK lit up like a wildfire every major city seems to be having issues with Three

Also Threes network issue tracker admits there are issues with the network itself

Should of added more info lol.

Would it be throttled after a certain limit, would they pick up its being used in a router

I would if it was of importance, not knocking what you have said, but I have said, what I have said, as a workaround that will solve the issue for the uplink ran 4G mast in your area, to your device, if you have had an issue for a month, then you should be calling them twice a day, everyday!!

As for the tracker.. meh

Nope, what you do with the data plan features on a sim now, are different to 2 years ago, you will have 1TB data, max pm and even after that massive amount per month, it still keeps going, obviously they have network logistic software in place for commercial use factor %'s on a consumer sim, but even if that is noticed, all they do is suggest you get 2 more sims of any sort and move it over to Business, which has no restrictions in anyway
buyer10130/08/2019 15:10

I think its capped at 1000GB.

1000GB is quite a lot but if you're putting the SIM in a router/tethering and have several users streaming HD (3GB per hour) and downloading XBOX/PS4 games (some of them are many GBs) then it is easy to go over this limit.

I didn't think they could get away with saying something is unlimited if there is a limit.
