Naysayer - I got offered this package last month by the 3 retentions team but managed to get the same package which I previously had with a phone down to £11.00 per month on a 12 month contract as SIM only deal which suits me fine!

pretty sure the one plan doesn't have unlimited tethering anymore. only customers before the cut off point(February 2014?) have got unlimited.

It does for SIMO read the terms and conditions.

Wrong - only with mobile deals changed.

Trying it!

If this gets confirmed, this deal will melt! Hmm - interested to see if anyone gets it as an additional line.

keep us posted

Unlimited tethering is still included on sim only deals but it's severely hampered by Traffic Sense between 3pm and midnight.

I really hope this is true, but if it is this is a very recent change. I'm on the one month rolling One plan, and I got it before the price rise, so I'm paying £18 p/m. Last month I threatened to cancel unless they reduced the price to £15 p/m (and I also offered to sign a 12 month contract) and I spoke to multiple teams in-store and on the phone, but they all said that it was impossible since that deal no longer exists. I ended up going ahead and giving my one-month's notice to cancel, and they didn't budge. I eventually called up 2 days before my contract expired to say that I wanted to stay with it, but after that experience I was sure that they weren't going to budge on the price of the one plan.

But hopefully they've changed their minds now

I have 3 months left on my contract, currently paying £36 a month for one plan, I plan on threatening to leave will I be offered this?

I am having all sorts of signal problems with 3 recently last 6 weeks or so. Anyone else having this problem? If I wasn't I would be all over this, been great beforehand, apart from CS that is.

Yeah same here , voicemails come through days late and calls drop or people ring me and cant get through.

It seems even worse with their signal box !

Shame they offer such a good deal on One Plan (unlimited everything inc tethering before the change)

Get HulloMail. Much better than Three's voicemail.

The long delays in getting voicemails was one of the reasons I left Three, blimmin ridiculous.

Have just done my upgrade with 3. They don't do any special deals or loyalty discounts or anything. With mobile deals there's a 2gb tethering limit now. No amount of talking on the phone and threatening to leave works with them. Shame as simply psychologically I'd rather get £2-4 off a month off a dearer contract than feel as ordinary and as valued as a new customer, even though the result is the same!! Makes me feel at least like I did my bit to haggle even a little!

if they offered this for new customers even on a 12 month deal I and probably a lot of people would be all over this

I've got unlimited tethering on sim only it's limited tethering for new customers i pay 17:50 a month but have found that 3 advanced 3g speeds are twice the speed as their 4g speeds

I was offered the £ 15PM deal with unlimited internet and tethering when I tried to get a deal on the new S5 but they wouldnt budge. I said I would leave and they offered the sim only deal on a rolling contract.

I can attest to that. In addition to threatening them with cancellation, I proposed that if they give me the contract on a reduced price I'll take 3 contracts with them including mine as missus and another family member needed one. But even after all that they still wouldn't budget.

I phoned to cancel the wife's contract @ £6.90 a month and was offered this deal. the women on the end of the line kept repeating the fact that is was AYCE data with tethering and I could use as much as data as I wanted in a month. I was also offered extra 3 to 3 minutes (5000) as this is a second contract.

phoned the idiots at 3 as mine contract was up spent about a hour with Indian call centre trying to get them to budge on a one month rolling and nothing they just wouldn't budge telling me no other network does all you can eat data so **** off basically.
So I asked for my pac code expecting someone to contact me with better deal but no one did so had to call back next day and try again still wouldn't budge so had to take out basic 12.90 rolling

Hi, I like your Apple iPad Air, I've been buying apple products since day one. But that 499 price tag is a bit steep, what could you do for me? Nothing?! I'm gonna go and buy an apple ipad from somewhere else, not from Apple, I'm done with you! What do you mean no one else makes apple ipads? Well... whatever I'll still get one from somewhere else where they value my custom! I've spent good money with apple in the past!

You can substitute the ipad bit with Cadbury creme egg or similar.

This deal cannot be offered in store unless it has first been offered by the customer services over the phone to you. So don't bother asking in-store.

This is a last resort offer. I work at a Three store and although this deal is great I won't be telling any customers about it as it earns us next to no money if we can do it and it will only get done over the phone anyway.
Don't be surprised if no one in-store acknowledges that this is something we can do

Might try this as I was thinking of keeping my contract while I got traveling for a year to save all the hassle of losing my number and the package i've got.

Three, the only network you can have full 3G signal and still not be a able to make/receive a call/text hahaha

I got this deal when threatening to cancel and got 3 separate contracts at £14 per month each.

Just to confirm - tethering is included.

Bargain.

Any one able to back this up with evidence as I have been making a hell of a lot of calls to three trying to get a deal now my contracts up and they say they offer nothing in terms of loyalty discount or existing customer offers

I was knocked down to £12 per month with no commitment when I called to cancel my own One Plan contract a couple of months ago. I was passed through to cancellations and was offered this without prompting him. I did genuinely want to cancel, but at £12 I would be stupid not to, especially as I kept the tethering.

There is only one way you will get this deal - if you threaten to leave and you get a nice CS advisor.

If you walk in and get it, you'll be very lucky.

Just an update.....They have switched me to the £15.00 for the one plan so it does work.....U have to get through to the final bit & keep mentioning you would pay £15 for unlimited like it was a few months ago & if you get the right advisor they will offer the deal.......obviously if u try multiple times you will fail.......Let them do the talking as much as possible & just keep saying £15 for the one plan is the max u will go.....Dont hang up just let them keep talking till they weaken.

It does not depend on the advisor. It depends on whether you make any money for the company or not. It's the same everywhere, as long as the customer makes money for the company it's worth keeping them. If you're on a 6.90 sim and you barely receive any phone calls, barely make any phone calls out of your allowance then what's the point in keeping you? Nothing.

I am on a old one plan for £25pm with similar mins, txts, ayce etc.

If I give my 1 months notice - do I get put through to the retensions team and get offered this??????

Anyone confirm?

Maybe because you'd be giving them over £80 a year and barely using their network?

It's difficult to say if this should be classed as a deal seen as the majority of people won't get it.
It's not a priced product that can just be bought, it's more based on luck.

It's all depending on where you are (as with all networks).
I get about 300kb on 3g in central London and got around 1500kb when I was in up north somewhere.
Same with 4g, I get about 400kb on my bed, 2400kb a metre away on my desk lol and 3000kb a few roads away near my mates place.

They are definitely offering this deal to certain customers. I called to cancel my uncles contact with them and one of the offers they made was this deal. I'm sure the offer included 2000 Three to Three minutes too.

I did a couple of months ago - I was just honest and said that I wanted to cancel because of cost. I was then put through to another advisor to cancel who offered me the £12 deal. I didn't go looking for it but was offered it. I genuinely wanted to cancel.
