I'm not sure if this has been posted before but I've been using this for the past year and I'm sure someone will benefit from it.

Essentially I brought a Three PAYG SIM card from P4U instore for £10 and on it comes preloaded with £30 credit. I change the preloaded credit to 1Gb worth of data which cost £10, which I use on my own dongle.

From the preloaded £30 credit you can get 3 months of 1Gb data per month, which for me is more than enough as I use it for only e-mails.

I've only ever brought the Three PAYG SIM card from P4U instore, not sure if they're the same else where.

I can't see the dongle, can u post a direct link please?:)

Direct link ? I'm getting £19.95 for SIM only

Can't seem to find it on their website for £10 - Only one I can find is £19.55

Would be interesting to see if the sim can select the 'monthly internet option' @ £5 as an add-on - it would go lovely with the 3 mobile broadband dongle people have picked up for £4.95

No this must be brought from the shop ... it does cost £10 as I brought one today.

It does not include the dongle, you use your own PAYG dongle for this.

There is no dongle, this is for just a sim card

Has it arrived? Was worried it was a con as site wasn't secure for card payments

Yes mine is sat downstairs waiting for free '3 sim' to arrive (people have got these working on the dongle @ £5 monthly internet)

Need to find out if this sim would work the same as instead of topping it up with £10 I'd just purchase one of these instead

I know this is a bit off topic but can somebody explain how 3 are "changing mobiles forever"

Are they really saying skype will change the world? Don't you need a wifi connection so out and about it's pretty useless??

Just seems an "eggs in one basket" approach to me and I'm a bit confused what their USP is besides appalling customer services and complicated tariff structures

if your comment relates to ]this deal, I seem to recall the retailer's card processors' embedded page was secure.

Perhaps change title to instore only?

Why did you not use the sim that was in the box?

Just been to two P4U shops and both were unaware that this offer existed?? both refused to sell me a "3" sim at this price with £30 of credit on them. Both shops claimed they did have a discontinued sim pack on their systems for £9.74 but dunno if it's the same thing. Both stores had no stock of either??

Is this a legit deal or just one of those "lucky mistakes" at checkout?

hi just bought sim card today 9.74 the shop sold it no problem ..it works in the dongel but you can not use the 15 pound 3gb deal.it lets you the dongel convert the call time to 5 pound add on for the mobile phone internet. this works in the dongel for 30 days fair use which is about 1gb for 30 days. the call time runs out in 60 days whether in the dongel or phone. change my post the 30 pound call time can be converted to 15 pound 3gb deal in settings to use in dongel but only lasts 30 days.

Buy the £5 add-on 6 times ;-)

hi but would this last six months the call time only lasts sixty days then deleted.

Cheers, just went ahead and used my code for free dongle. Never know when you need 1 although you can use your mobile as a modem if need be.

Because the sim in the box does'nt let you choose the 'monthly internet' add on for £5 - It's a dongle sim which is locked into the 'mobile broadband' add-ons

Ah so using the £5 bolt on for mobile browsing in the dongle instead of paying per amount. What is the fair usage on the £5 per month then, anyone know?

hi the 5 pound add on works out at 1gb for 30 days fair use loads for browsing the odd bit you tube.

On a laptop it might be best to disable images and auto downloads like windows updates. Just an idea.
