Just got this retention deal for 8GBs of Data with Unlimited minutes and texts for £10/month for 12 months. it's an Essential Plan so in-EU roaming only and not personal hotspot, but does include Go Binge. As this was a retention deal YMMV.

Three's next best plan is allegedly £15 for a 12GB Advanced Plan, didn't get offered anything cheaper.

For me it was either this or one of Virgin's plans.

£10/ year? or £10/month for a year

For new customers via tcb 8 quid 12 gb advanced plan

I'm looking to change soon for another sim only plan. I think Three were offering some amazing deals recently, but it's the coverage which puts me off.

When I do a coverage search for my home area, and work area about 8 miles away, it shows that they have coverage but report that there's a "long term fault in this area" for both of them! Isn't encouraging

I'm on PAYG on three, would I qualify for this?

I think it's the other way around, 8gb for £12.

I would say you would have to ring them or go on there online chat to see what they offer remember there will be a credit check as well.

Heat added! Just rang them as i was waiting for the black friday deals before choosing a new contract (mine ran out at the beginning of november and has just carried on.. sim only 4gb, unlim calls/ texts - £9 pm).... Rang them and stated that i had seen a black friday deal elsewhere for £10 and was wondering if they could match it and they did Thanks for this! I usually panic about my data as i use it alot on my breaks in work and im working alot! Not an issue at home with WIFI but its gutting when you run out of data! Thanks so much

I am leaving three because I was in the same situation on an existing £9pm deal with 4G data and unlimited calls/texts. I didn't think £10 for an essential plan and 8GB was a good enough retention deal tbh (I too was offered the same) with you and they didn't want to offer anything else - basically unless you are a high user spending ££ I don't think they have good retention deals. The coverage is patchy at best so I think its worth paying a few extra £ a month to get good coverage but thats just my view on it.

What number did you call to get retentions?

I just went through to the thinking of leaving bitnon 333

I found their customer services terrible!!! And they should have a better app my 3 app shouldn't have to be granted permission to turn off your wifi to update what you have used via mobile data and then you have to rely on the app turning your wifi back on after exiting the app. I was with them for 7 days on this deal and by the way they will say £15 straight away that it costs. Very bad and try to mislead you any help you want they send you a link via text, to help yourself. and they stole 440MB off me saying that my router was down for a while. Which it was not and I am with Virgin on 100MB fibre so how they can say that when I am not even with them for wifi I don't know. Good deal, but not worth the hassle. Back with Virgin now, All I can say is watch out and the coverage is crap, you won't get a signal in the house in some places.
