I wouldnt say thats much of a retention deal to be honest, still quite pricey
Ive paid £11 a month for last 2 years , sim only unlimited data , 500 anytime minutes , 5000texts unlimited 3-3 calls
This is a very good deal, thanks for posting my three contract is up in two months so will bear this in mind.

Sim only
4gb Data unlimited minutes = £9
I have the £9 deal, you can cap pretty much everything to stop you going over really good deal
All i suggest is do not get a 16GB iPhone.

I should note that I have no problems with iPhones it's just 16GB is pointless with the loss of space from the OS then a few photos, a couple apps and their data a large sms database and before you know it your phone is full.

thats a horrible retention deal - cold
I spoke to Three yesterday about my contract, they told me that they had stopped doing the S6 Edge+ now for some reason. Could only offer an S6, or S6 Edge.

Even so, deal not that great really, few pounds off the marked price at best IMO. You could get the same deal almost anywhere if you phoned and told them what the other company was offering etc.

16GB is still useful to many people, not everything piles all their music and films onto a phone. Especially when you have many streaming services and cloud storage available.
Spoke to them two weeks ago, told them i was going to leave and they wouldn't offer me any deal. Just the standard deals. They are a bit expensive for data now. Used to be £15 for the one plan with unlimited data and tethering. Their cheaper plans are more expensive for data than other companies.

Ive only ever had 16gb iPhones, just back up photos to pc/cloud and delete them of the device, lose your phone and you've lost all the photos. Ive got plenty of apps that are pretty big in size and have never had a problem.
you did better then me on the 8gb deal as the lowest offer was £16 but on a one month rolling.
how can I get these deals?
I am on 3 and I will be going to giffgaff. Poor signal all the time can bearly get 4g. Two mates at work on giffgaff totally different story. That's where I will be heading when my contract is up!!!!!!

i would guess you are still on the old one plan? which has been discontinued and at some point you will be removed from. They can and will do this, only a matter of time. Did it on me unfdortunately, so now paying £17 for AYCE data with 200mins, 1mth rolling (they give me a £3 discount when moved but thats it sadly).

unfortunately 3 are not as cheap as they used to be, especially on AYCE data.

From what I have read / seen, I generally think you're better moving from 3 if

a) you want a handset deal
b) you don't need AYCE data
Nope not the one plan.

well as thats not a standard deal on the site, perhaps you'd be kind enough to share what you are, when you got it and whether you did anything to get the deal?
Three deals are very average now. My wife is on the £15 One Plan and they have not taken her off it, I think because she has not rinsed the data and only tethers in an emergency. The current offers, retention or otherwise are awful considering how patchy the 4G coverage is

Same thing as you listed. Guess the upped the price at some point. Use to be £15.

Have tried that with EE. plenty of charm from me; "am I covered" from them. and that's for a business customer running several phones. Then waited until private bb and phone came up for renewal. Was actually just glad to leave. I'll try it on a post-pubescent, socially unaware EE shop salesperson next time. let's see if they know how to converse beyond: "eh?; its 3gig mate", or that old/new chestnut " best phone in the world right now, mate". You must have a lot more persuasive skills than I. lol!
"covered", should say "bovered". lol

Just to throw a wobbler in there: guff-gaff where I am "Nul-point". no signal, nothing. however, o2-'c-what-u-can-do'
is the best signal.possible. hmm. well I wonder. same old thing when I went from o2 pay monthly to o2 PAYG:- zero signal. They put me in the poor peoples back-burner network. incidentally, 3 was awful where I was and is now absolutely brilliant. yes, prices up, but I have a network which is far superior to guff-gaff or 3 was only 12 months ago - hence the price hikes. I once drove over 12 miles from my house on guff-gaff and didn't get a signal once, until I returned home. although I don't live in a major city, its still a built up area in the main. Went to 3. if only some watchdog could come along and tell us all the truth regarding coverage and network. instead of us chopping and changing and having to be sold rubbish.
Absolute garbage. My contract with Three is up in one month & have been browsing online a fair bit. There's better deals via mobiles.co.uk for example with other networks than what these clowns are offering for loyalty.

8gb Data Unlimited Minutes - Iphone 6s 16gb = £37?

I'd rather take a 128gb 6s for £125 upfront (USING CODE JANSALE128) at £35 a month with 4gb of data tbh.
3 is bracing itself for a 12 billion pound bill, its no coincidence in the last 18 months plans have become some of the least market leading, BT approval for EE passed today so I doubt 3 will get to buy o2, I would not expect 3 deals to get any better - they probably made profit on 3UK or as near as too as has ever been.

Not in my experience. 3 are very unlikely to offer tempting deals. They have never budged on the price for me, and only use it as an opportunity to try and sell you other crap deals, or perhaps a new ipad or second phone!!!

I miss the service, but they didn't offer any discount to keep me

Don't count on Giffgaff internet being very good though. I have great signal on Giffgaff, but Internet cuts out and lags all the time, due to they're traffic flow control I think. I couldn't even watch a movie with it and I am paying for unlimited data. Frustrating.
Again, the government just take the (companies) money and we take the chances with this bunch of shaisters. All in the name of free-market economics. which = if you can f%%k people, then here's the (governmental) licensed to do so. oO
Three are great. You'll be back.
