Never had a problem with three... ever.

Work in London, live in Kent, always get 4G and when I have contacted their customer service they have always helped me out massively.

Everyone has negatives to say about every network, but I can't complain at all about Three.
Recently took the EE 25gb for £12 after cashback after being with 3 for a good few years.

Honestly 100gb is way overkill for me. I won't use that much anyway but 3 is absolutely rubbish.

Customer service can't fix anything, very arrogant and have no negotiation skills to help the customer out. I've had loads of issues including my data being cut off about 4 times last year for about 6 hours each and they literally told me to deal with it or leave if I wanted to since I was out of contract

EE - had a few questions about my plan, extremely helpful customer service reps who actually understand your query. And 4G speeds are about 200mb down best, about 150mb average and lowest is 75mb.

Heat given cos it's a good deal regardless, but never going back to 3. Absolute idiots running the business

Is that EE deal still available?
I agree, been with 3 network and SC is just nightmare.
Does anyone know the cheapest way I can go with 3 purely for the offers on the Wuntu app. Thanks

Grab a PAYG sim, activate wuntu, bin the SIM. Job done
The biggest issue with 3 is the signal coverage. Even in central London you can end up with no signal and the speeds can be atrocious.

But, it's a good package if you can get a good speed near you.

Don’t bin it, it makes you login every so often randomly, usually after app updates.

Same experience. If you don’t need CS it’s probably ok but data is patchy and I would never risk a primary phone on Three ever again. I have Vodafone and EE and both are excellent for speed and signal quality. O2 were terrible for everything but mostly getting 0.04Mbit/s in town was the final straw.
Good deal but very poor customer service
rubbish network coverage in my experience all around......
I’m also with Three and network coverage/speed is definitely patchy for me. Only reason why I’m still with them is that I’m paying £5 for unlimited data. Another heads up, Three has now added RPI increases to their sim only plans so you,l be subject to annual increases. Three used to be the only network that didn’t apply RPI increases to sim onlys afaik

Three has been fine for me, too. Yes, occasionally some signalling issues, but I suspect that happens with all networks - I cannot get a decent Vodafone signal where I am, but Three is just fine.

They are as cheap as chips, and I would much rather cheap and reliable unlimited and slow data (yes, Three are slow, but I can live with 40Mbs) than limited, but fast data. YMMV
Same here never had a problem on three unl everything £7 a month get good 4g wherever I go north west England ,my mates on EE he’s always holding his phone in the air trying to get a decent signal but when he does it’s excellent
To check your locations, good idea would be to go for that 200MB free sim card and check the speeds..

Oh I've never had a problem with wuntu, maybe cos I used to have a pay monthly?

And yes, there was a time I would only recommend 3 for price, service, speed, reliability and CS.

It's been a few years, they've been going downhill and it's a chore to even try contacting them for anything let alone their abysmal network service.

I can honestly see why EE charge a premium and I think it's worth it. Yesterday customer service spent 30 mins trying to fix an issue and even got other departments involved whilst I was on call which is normally a "call back" from other networks - which never happens
Cashback is not guaranteed so should not be included in the deal

Wuntu itself is fine but I access that through the SIM on my Three MiFi. The rest of the network has gone right downhill. Vodafone and EE have been top-notch recently, few minor niggles with Vodafone but I'm on a high price plan and get the impression they are treating me as such, data is ridiculously quick too, same with EE.
Still cheaper if you ask nicely and get it for £10 per month on a one month rolling contract. 🤫
Just left EE as they couldn’t offer me unlimited everything which 3 can for £21. I agree speeds aren’t as good for data but for streaming/ tethering (abroad as well with what appears to be no limit although they say 15gb) I cant complain. Factor in USA and other countries outside of EU, 3 was an obvious choice.
How long do three take to pay out? Pretty long if I can recall a transaction.
Does anyone know how long this offer is on for?

When did this happen? I Tweeted them 2 days ago to check this and they said it doesn’t apply to sim only contracts. I also received my contract through the post a couple of days ago and in the benefits it listed ‘No RPI Flag 2012’ :/
Is it me or 3's data speed got worse? my signal is relatively good but the speed is not so great (not all the time I must add) moving from Vodafone last year which to my surprise was fantastic, but the offer of £70 cashback was a no brainer to move back to 3 last year... Which has paid out btw exactly on time.

I’m not sure when it happened but on their price guide it states any customers who joined Three after 13th December 2018 will have RPI increases (sim only as well). Customers who joined sim only before that date will be fine and not be subject to RPI increases.

And here I am Using their 200mb free data reward sim & spending maybe £4 a YEAR to call/text/surf internet when needed using their 3/2/1.
Three= great service for everyone.

That’s interesting. Even their Twitter team aren’t aware of this. Do you know if this will also affect future plan changes on a contract that was taken out before this date? As I wouldn’t want to change plan to also have RPI added.
Does anybody know if you can claim the cashback being an existing customer wanting to upgrade?
Pretty sure I’m paying £14 for unlimited with 3 on a sim-only with no faffing around with cashback.

Ahh that I’m not too sure about but I’m sure if you change plan and RPI increases does happen to be included then the advisor should make this clear to you when giving you info about the plan.
