whats the point of 5G with only 8GB? at that small amount the speed of 4G …whats the point of 5G with only 8GB? at that small amount the speed of 4G should be enough?

That's a bit of a stupid comment. 5G is to do with the speed, why wouldn't you want a faster data connection, doesn't matter if you have 1gb or 100gb per month, the point is when you want to use it, it's quicker!

"5G ready" is only helpful if you have signal. Not a given with Three.

£50 Topcashback but for some reason it's advertised at £10 a month instead.

It's now £9 x12 -£50 = £58 bargain

Does this expire?
Oh 5g soooo good for our health lol....

I have added an expiry date to the post, but can't see anywhere in terms where this is mentioned as a limited promotion, so it may run for quite some time

This deal is pretty fantastic, thanks for posting
Also, I assume this works on 4G only devices too?
Already on Three and paying £10/month for this deal, trying ringing customer service to switch and save £1 a month and got a load of waffle so give up

If you're still in your 12 or 24 month contract they obviously won't do it, If your out of contract or on a monthly ask for your pac code if they won't switch you over.
They offered me this yesterday as part of retention offer as a "Special Offer" for existing customers.

I chose my PAC Code

I'm on 4g 10gb limit and never have any issues streaming videos etc and an average app will take less than 10 seconds to download whilst out and about so at that limit I don't see any advantage in changing to 5G.

Would you be happy to go back to 3g or even 2g then?
The same point remains, if you're getting a faster connection for essentially free (I don't think there are any other main network providers that would do Unlimited Min's/Texts and 8gb 4gb data for this price), then why wouldn't you take it?
Virgin are currently doing 100gb data, 5000 mins and unlimited texts for £10pm but this is a better option for lower data limit users.

Just tried the same on chat and he ended the chat abruptly.
What's the cheapest 5g phone that is out right now or coming soon? They still seem mega expensive. I wonder how long it will be until we see mid-ranged phones appearing in the £300-400 bracket.

Too true, years ago I bought a 4G phone as 3 were advertising 4G in my area, 1 year later I still couldn't pick up 4G.

Ask to speak to customer relations
Isn't 5g regulated by the type of compatible phone not the sim.

I'm with EE on PAYG sim (no contract) would like to keep my EE PAYG number, if I ask would they give me the PAC number to switch to Three? and is the process easy?
This is a good deal but I’d prefer it on a network that can actually provide a signal. 3 don’t have any presence where I live. At all. It’s like having a phone with no SIM card in it
It's 12gb for £12 on tcb with £25 cashback so works out at 10gb for £10 deal.
Horrible customer Service by 3. I moved to 3 recently on 12 month contract. Network at my home was not great so i asked them to cancel the contract next day....they said my number will be out of service for 5 days to generate PAC.....or moved to PAYG and then generate PAC but for that i had to pay £10...... complaint raise to OFCOM. Make sure you have great network of 3 before switching.....
Azzin12/08/2019 20:37

Runs on EE.

That’s what they tell you, but don’t expect anywhere near as good reliability. EE customers get priority on connections and data bandwidth. I found this out when comparing them side by side - This is true for Leeds anyway

No me either, eventually after they have tried to flog 5G to whoever takes up there deals it will probably all go over to 5G anyway. My over Wi-Fi signal will still fall out at home.Only quicker
Unless I am mistaken on TCB cashback is £55?
