forgot to add, after £40 cashback, it is about £6/mth for the 8GB data plan, not a bad deal.

Great deal, £42.50 cashback via Quidco too
Is this for new customers only? I've already got a contract with 3 which is due for renewal.
It will take about 6 months to get the cashback from Top(bottom)cashback! (or not at all, so buy this if you like the face value of the deal, and don't expect too much). I think without bottomcashback it is still a good deal (for 5G in about 2021 or 2022).
good deal, im just starting ti find 4gb is not enough even at 6 quid.
Remember, cashback is not guaranteed. Quidco failed to pay out on the SIM only on 3 I took out via them.

Also TCB. Seems to be a problem with Three
£40 cashback is tracked and pending.
I have tried many times TCB for the past 5 years but only once it has tracked so far for £0.37. Bought this deal using TCB app but still it didn't track, so I'm going to cancel it. On the other hand voucher codes works very well for me so far and their response time far better than any other sites.
Possibly the worst sim out there
Appalling "customer service" too. Lousy signal for phone and data. You get what you pay for!

Exactly, planning on switching to vodafone from fonehouse
i been with three and everything been fine and dandy with them. VOdafone ooofffff customer service was the worst ever. left them years ago and never been back.

used to blatently lie about the deals. then when i get the contract and phone something else to what agreed on the phone, no thank you
38816608-P8GcX.jpgnot Sure how they get away without paying cashback they should be banned from cashback sites if they don't payout. I'm not very optimistic about my £70 I was meant to get 😞

Was this from fonehouse or the actual 3 store?
I took up 2 Three contracts 5 months ago, self and the Mrs. One with TCB one with Quidco. Quidco tracked immediately and I'm confident I'll eventually get the payout.
TCB failed to track, had to raise a complaint, now TCB seems to have acknowledged the purchase but it's still a 'case' waiting on something from Three. The last thing TCB wants to do is straightforwardly track my purchase. Guess who I'll be using in future?
It Was from the 3 online store threw tcb they seem very slow to pay if at all not sure why it should take so long as I'm locked in a contract with them so it's not like I could take the money and then leave . Will use Quidco next time as it tracks better with them.
nice price but the 12gb for £12 - £57.50 cashback (£7.20 p/m) seems better value? although I hardly ever use more than 2gb it's nice to have the data if you need it
Heat added cheers op
Heat added thanks op
Marked as expired when the link went to a black page for both myself and my partner on different devices, but it's now working again a few hours later so reported as unexpired!
I’m looking to get this. What’s the chances that you will actually get the cashback and if I don’t am I able to cancel the package?

Hi i bought this a couple days ago and received the SIM card today, was then told to activate but did not work. I went into the shop to get it sorted and basically said i havnt bought from THREE and none of my details are on their system. Also the sim card they gave me they said the number does not exist.

Anyone else had any issues with this deal?

Thanks
I currently have my pac code as three refused to give any suitable offer, i thought about this but in terms it says if u cancel your contract to get this deal n claim cashback it will be refused,
Its just time of the year people getting shiny phones for Christmas so no proper deals.
Im confused between another thrre ir virgin deal, voda is big no in my city
I just got offered this deal for £9 by upgrading from an existing sim only contract. They wouldn’t match this price Is there any way of keeping my same number and signing up to this?
I took out this contract and quickly cancelled and went back to Vodafone. They cost more but the signal was atrocious every where I went in Manchester with Three. I was stood in the centre of St. Peter’s Square and couldn’t get any data. That’s when I knew I couldn’t stick with this. May be good elsewhere in the country but if you’re in Manchester, don’t bother.

Call them and close the contract you have with them now and ask to move your sim to pay as you go. Take this contract trough Quidco and you could get £42.50 cashback so you will end paying £4.5 per month. After your actual contract has been moved to pay as you go, call them and ask to swap your numbers.

I'm surprised at this as I've been with Three since 2012 and work in Manchester City Centre Monday to Friday and never had an issue with data.

I’ve stood next to someone I work with who is on 3 and the difference is night and day. Perhaps it’s just an overly congested network but I was getting 0.1mb at peak times whereas now I get 40mb+ I’ve seen this on a side by side comparison and it’s actually convinced my colleague to leave. Three were particularly bad on the Metrolink whereas Vodafone I only drop out once or twice on a journey for about 10 seconds when on the phone or browsing. It may be something you don’t realise if you’ve been with them that long and I stream a lot of YouTube / Netflix. If you don’t do that, you won’t notice. I’d actually signed up to the unlimited package to do this.

I’m pretty sure the Metrolink WiFi is provided by Vodafone so Vodafone probably has masts on all the tram lines

Regardless for Manchester and surrounding areas - Vodafone is the best, declared by Rootmetrics
