They are on the same level of awfulness as Vodaphone.Don't get into a contract with any phone providers unless you have to. Yes it works out a bit more expensive but you are not tied down.

I have been with 3 for years and can state exactly the opposite of what you have said. When used, customer services have been nothing but 5 star. A couple of weeks ago I had a problem which turned out to be mainly my fault. I was still given a five pound refund.

Very good customer services but I was disappointed with no reception in my house. I took a 12 month contract sim only deal and they cancelled it with no hassle and did not even charge me. The only reason is the network coverage is really poor in some places

Good wee phone deal for you love

Has been this price for a little while, I got it about a month ago through Topcashback with £60 CB which makes it about £7 per month.

I think this has been posted several times before!

I was with Three for 3 years and their customer service was excellent to be fair but their reception and 4G was a bit hit and miss for me. I’m out of contract now and was tempted by the price but the network is just too slow for me.

I don't think so, I have recently renewed my contract via a 3rd party because Three was unable to offer a better deal for me than the usual 12GB/unlimited minutes/messages for 15£ what they normally have on the web site. With Buymobiles I managed to get the same deal for 11.5£ and there is a chance I will get further cashback via TCB.

thanks

Could the OP please post the link in a comment? I see £15 a month as well. You can get it down to £12 by using Topcashback but that's not quite the same thing.

I always found 3 customer service to be fine. Vodafone similar apart from when they had terrible billing system problems 2 years ago. To their credit, Vodafone billing is now fine.

I'm going to jump to Virgin Mobile this week though. 6GB for a tenner a month (plus some Topcashback thrown in) is great; Virgin usually have good retention deals so hopefully I'll stay with them for years.

Go through the 4gb one at £11 and you get a tick box for extra £1 12gb

Realised it said tracked through Quidco, and when I checked, Quidco is only providing this for £13 per month.

Did they change the price already?

Cashback tracks but never pays out on these deals .

I've had cashback many times with three via quidco and it has never failed to track.

Only time I have ever had a problem with cashback not tracking on a mobile phone was with carphone warehouse.

So true, do not depend on cashback with Three

How would you go about moving to this deal and taking advantage of a cashback offer if you're already with Three?

Pah!! Signing up for this, but not able to put my address in as it’s not listed (8 out of 12 on our postcode the same). The chatbot’s not helpful ‘try in store they might be able to match the deal’. But no TCB OR Quidco there. Hey ho.

This works to get it for £12. Possible £45 Quidco.

I get 4gb for £13, not £11.

Cheers. And £60 TCB tracked within an hour. People saying three are bad for cashback, isn't it that everyone has different experience with tracking across different retailers. The only way to objectively measure if one retailer is better or worse than the average is tracking and payment statistics. Quidco give some data (tracking, not payment) for merchants, although the figures are empty for Three. TCB users report 99.29% satisfaction.

This particular deal (full price £15pm) has been around give or take a pound for some time on HKUD. £7pm net if TCB payout. But this deal is an example of what MSE and the media describe as not really a unique sale price. Will probably disappear next week then return at Christmas.....

Wrongly assumed I could get this as an upgrade, nope! And they’re not budging sadly. Might just have to suck it up an upgrade for £15 a month instead.

You all wrong stating CB never tracks and paid by Three. If you go trough quidco using desktop it should be OK. Even Three's website giving you message you are tracked trough quidco.

Thanks, just ordered

Problem solved then, lets all go with Three then. Goto the branch in my town, and they are an arrogant rude bunch of toss pots.

Virginmedia on the other hand admitted a mistake they made, I was in email contact with a top manager in Scotland and they gave me 3 month free, with an apology.
That is the company I want to spend my hard earnt cash with.
I even wrote an email thanking them

I would go through Buymobiles. 14£/month + 30£ cashback after 3 months to the bank account and also possibly TCB. Last year the cashback was working to me from Buymobiles and I also got it from TCB (clear the history before click it through TCB to make sure it tracks properly)
