I used to always upvote Three deals cos the amount you get for what you pay is fantastic but my god the signal has been atrocious recently. I bet I have signal about 60% of the time I want to use my internet. Theyre cheap and the speeds are great when working as advertised but please beware if going with them and do some research cos I cant be the only one. Not a chance ill be staying with them after this contract ends.
And £70 cash back with Quidco...

You provided less valuable feedback than him, you are just being a dick.

Least he gave the information that for future Three users there 5g network could be good.

Hi @Abdul91 what is the length of the contract please?

Hi @Abdul91 what is the length of the contract please?

Hi,

It's 12months contract
How to get this deal if you have got already a pay as you go sim card
Looks alright to me
Voted hot. Wish Three had their 5G network up and running. They have lots of 5G bandwidth since they bought UK Broadband, but not so much 4G bandwidth.

There's no link between the two. Just go ahead and take out the SIM only contract

Why? So you can wait a year for a possible 5g handset.

5G for £20 a month? Come on what world you living in.
Retention deal was £13 for exactly the same data mins & txts, only difference was I did not start a new contract just changed existing contract.

Whose your sim provider now then?
joosh14 h, 29 m ago

3 have just removed the caps. You can tether your whole allowance.
I would be careful, the guy on my chat said there's a chance that the data cap may still be on for those going through quidco as they're third party and have their own separate terms and conditions

Edit: I've gone through without the cashback in the hope that in a years time I'll be able to get better deals with three as a 3 year customer. (so won't have to cancel and become a new customer). Saves me the hassle too

Still Three till the end of my contract. I only renewed back in around April.
You can get unlimited everything with Three for £18pm on a 12 month contract. Available to everyone, no bartering, and minimal faffing about. It's been posted loads of times
can you sent the link of three website where they are offering unlimited everything for 18 pounds

Where do you live out of interest? I never have any signal issues where I live up in Yorkshire, but when I visited London I had full signal but very poor speed. On the whole through I’m very happy with Three, and I’m on this exact deal but got it for £16pm as a retention deal
Echo the above. Three has no 2g network so there's no data if you aren't in sight of a 3g mast, but on the whole coverage is much better than some bigger providers used to be ten years ago so it's good enough. If you want top coverage you need to be paying Vodafone or O2 about twice as much for half as much service and getting half the performance at the same time.

I don't have the best signal on three, in fact my phone is dual sim and as you can see..
35542213-vC8nO.jpgThat is the case all the time for me and I live close to about 4 masts(info taken from OpenSignal) as I'm in the city. Honestly though I've never known customer service as good as what three provides. They fought nail and tooth to keep me as a customer. I was offered £34 a month from O2 for 30gb a month, three said they would give me ayce with no upfront costs if I stayed. I didn't even have to threaten to leave! My partner on the other hand is with EE. Great network speeds..
35542213-O1QmZ.jpgHowever when she last called to upgrade they did very little for her and the first person we called up suggested we leave as they couldn't match any deals! So three might not have great signal but when you compare prices and customer service against Vodafone and EE you are really only left with o2 or three.

how can new customers get the 30gb £15 plan though
Edited by: "toyota1" 9th Oct
I come down to this for £20 quite a while ago from the all you can eat everything tariff. For me in Manchester the signal/speeds etc have been faultless.
Effx5th Oct

Just phone them up once your new sim arrives. You will need to give them some of the numbers that are printed on your old sim and then they transfer the phone number to your new sim.
You shouldn't get £2 off a month for being an existing three customer too.
I got it last year Black Friday for £18 month
I’m on a 30 day contract with 3, this seems to be a better deal for me. Is this for new or existing customers?

I agree since last few months the signal has been bad
I will be moving in November to virgin as my current contract expires and views on virgin mobile
Don't bother with Three if you plan on using any significant DATA when abroad!
They have a fair-usage policy which means after using just 13GB they will start charging you silly money per MB!!
My understanding is that Vodafone don't have any annoying FUP's when EU roaming and therefore allow you to use ALL your contracted data without additional charges.

They are okay, I have the 100GB sim only. It rolls over 20GB a month. So I have 120gb every month. I do generally get good coverage, I tether more than 40GB but never have problems. The gripe I have with them is, they use 3G in EU. I was in Poland and France and all I got was 3G internet. No wifi calling as far as I'm aware.....

I always wonder that when people complain. Similar to you I live in Yorkshire and can get great 4g speeds in the middle of nowhere. I even have 4g signal in places were friends on EE / O2 don't have any signal at all.

Same, O2/EE are awful here!
Have this same deal but with Virgin, signal is very poor unless in a heavily populated area, whats Three like?
