New sim-only deal from three only £16pm for unlimited everything.

24 month contract which is a long time for sim only but when it is this good a deal, why would you want to change contract anyway?

Includes 5G, Tethering and Go Roam.

Cheapest it has ever been as far as I am aware.

If you take out the contract, You will find out pretty quickly why you want to change it.

Lucky there is a 14 day cooling off period then!

I've been with Three for 8 years and perfectly happy
I'd recommend before commiting to a 24 month contract getting a free pay as you go 3 sim and checking how bad the service is where you live and work.
I get a full 5 bars of signal at home but my data speeds are often unusable and slower than dial up.
Standard network comments. They're all bad. They're all amazing. They are all much of a muchness.

People living in areas without amazing coverage will have complaints about all networks somewhere.

Been with three in our household for years and years. Always the best value and customer service has never been a problem for us. YMMV.

Signal is crap on my travels in my truck. Customer service was appalling a few years back, don't know if that's changed :/

It's tempromental but I've compared data speeds at various times with EE and Vodafone, in my area and they can all be pants!

It's got worse!
3 is liable to still have included roaming when the EU law gets torn up. If we get to travel again. That's why I'm contemplating 3 for the future.
Ive bought this n they are charging me 9.84 or something for the first 6 months
What does 5G ready mean? Is 3 5G capable or not?
Surely you can get cashback when going for this?

My experience is similar most of the times. WiFi calling has been a saviour , but their pricing is irresistible.

I did the same and the signal was 2 bars and data speeds were rubbish. No point advertising 5g or unlimited data when they cannot even guarantee a decent 4g speed!
If the word "ready" is used, I'm sure it is not fully functional
Been with three for around 15 years, but having had a 5g phone for the past 6 months realised how their marketing bullxxxx does not match up to the service offered ive left and am now on Vodafone voxi, better more reliable voice signal and no noticeable lack of Internet speed anywhere so far, and more 4g availability as well.
cooliusxp25/05/2020 10:00

You can see the list of cities that have 5G here http://www.three.co.uk/5g

This means nothing, in nottingham its a small ring around a city centre store, absolutely dreadful 5g coverage.

So the same as every other network then!

At least three aren't asking you to pay more for it like others are
Three’s moto - ‘the network built for internetting’
More like the network built for waiting
Ah man paying £18 for this. Amazing deal and the signal in my area is superb. Cracking speeds and all unlimited. Such a bargain for £16.

Have some heat op
Any idea for existing customers how to upgrade. I tired to upgrade via 3 app but this offer isn't listed

Where do you reside?
Ah the old 24 month contract trap. My brother is on an unlimited 12 month for £15 a month with them. He is in one of those rare places where they still have enough bandwidth on the network.
I am paying £20 for this. Speed in the router (with external antenna) was great and 3 x better than Vodafone (when it would work). Since lock down, I am still getting 40-50mbs, but it takes an eternity to contact a server and I have even lost connection which didn't happen in the 4 months before.
just recently did a retention deal with ee on an unlimited everything for £25 pm...

They cannot supply me with 4g when it's everywhere but 5g is a few more years away so I will keep my 4g phone .If I do get it it won't be with 3 that's a guarantee.

Agree.
With the Spotify deal im happier with my Vodafone unilimited at 24gbp. With traffic x priority.

I travel a lot and the 4g in other countries is amazingly good on vodafone, and amazingly gly bad on Three.

Mee too.. the 9.84 is only the first bill because it's a month plus a 8/9 days but for the next 5 months it should be £8pm and then £16pm for the rest of the contract. I got that confirmed with one of their webchat guys. Not a bad deal considering I was expecting to pay £16pm from start.
If 3's signal works for you it's the best deal. However, 3's signal at my house is dreadful. Not sure why, I can see the 3 mast at the end of my road, but having said that there is 1 tree in the way, which is probably enough reason for 3 to day that's why my signal isn't working!!

Shame as it's a great deal. If only EE would do this price.

That's the postcode lottery I guess, I'm at home getting 70mbps on three and my plan already has 5G when I decide to upgrade to a 5G phone so I can't complain.

Three used to frustrate me with poor coverage when I first moved to them about 6 years ago, but often now find that I have coverage when my fiance who is on Vodafone does not. Also found their customer services to be pretty good, they're generally pretty good at rewarding loyalty (think I'm paying about £12 a month for unlimited everything at the moment) and their free roaming abroad has saved us a bomb when overseas; this missus turns her data off and just tethers from mine.

All mobile companies have black spots of coverage, the last couple of years I've not found Three's to be an issue. I'm currently working in the north of Scotland and have been amazed at the places in the middle of nowhere that I've got 4 bars of signal and download speeds >10Mbps.
What happens after the contract ends?

Does this carry on at £16 or go up?

It means you will wait till the year 2025 for improved speeds, all the while pulling yur hair out whilst waiting.
Thanks op, I'm an existing customer out of contract, so spoke with Live chat and they've switched me over to this with half price for first 6 months too.
