Claiming Cashback

It’s super simple to claim your cashback. All that’s required is your network bill and your Fonehouse account. Just login into your account and click the button titled ‘Claim Cashback’.

A form will be pulled up, asking you to fill in your order number, name. email address, date of birth, network, telephone number and bill date. You’ll also be asked to include a PDF download of your relevant bill then simply enter the details you gave when you placed the order and submit your claim. You’ll get an email shortly confirming your claim has been submitted successfully.

If you have any issues when trying to claim, you can contact customer services who will be able to help rectify the problems.

When to Claim

The dates you claim differ depending on which contract you have taken out however, they are both claimed in the same way. Redemption cashback is paid in 5 equal instalments throughout the duration of your contract.

You will need to download and submit bills which can be downloaded from your online account with the network, not Fonehouse.

If you have a 12-month contract, you need to claim using the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th bill that you receive from the network. You must submit your claim within 60 days of receiving the relevant bill.

3468583.jpg

If you never want to miss a claim, you can set reminders on your current mobile phone.

Cashback Time Frames

Each time you submit your cashback claim, Fonehouse process the submitted bill within 14 days. Successful claims will be paid directly into your bank account within 21 days.

Cashback is paid via BACs into the bank details you give on the order. If your details change, please update us so we can pay the cashback with ease.

Reasons of Rejection

There are a few reasons claims could be rejected however, they are really easy to avoid.

If your bill is submitted outside the 60-day period, your claim could be rejected. If you submit the bill as soon as you receive it, this won’t be a problem.

You won’t be eligible to cashback if your pay monthly contract has been canceled. You must be paying your monthly bills to receive payment.

The tariff you order from Fonehouse must be the tariff for the duration of the contract. If this is at all altered, your cashback claims may be denied. Cashback is specific to each deal and we are unable to edit the amount between different tariffs.

You need to make sure that all details you enter on the cashback claim form match the details we have on the order for you. Your claim may be rejected if this information doesn’t match our system. If any of your details change, please call our customer service line to update these.

If you submit the wrong bill date on the cashback claim form, you risk your cashback being rejected. As long as you follow the above cashback claim dates, the bill will be correct. Just double check that the bill date you enter on the form matches the date shown on the network bill.

Cashback really is as simple a couple clicks and a reminder however. more information can be found in our FAQs. If there are problems with your cashback, you’ll receive an email. If you have any other questions, our customer service team is on hand to answer them.

Does this involve a credit check ? Thing is, I might need two ....so would I need to do two separate orders to get the cash back?
Smarty 30gb for £10? Uses 3 signal, and I don't think there is a credit check.
I have 2 months left on my current contract with EE, this deal looks good, if I go for this sim now, can I transfer my current phone number at the end of my contract withh EE, thnx

Could ask but since they dont do cashback, they wouldn't want you to pay so little each month.
Thanks got the email 2days back saying they are moving me to a “better” contract as mine is up in 30 days so unlimited calls and text with 4Gb data and go binge ( matched a deal elsewhere) so now price jumps up, so how can that be better

I have the smarty one, can't go wrong.
This looks a good deal, I'm on Three already but paying £13pm for the same

How would I go about getting my number transffered over, is that something they can do relatively easily?

I thought that doesn't work if you're saying within the same network?

Yes correct. Just realised you’re already with 3. I’m sure you can call them and sort it out.
Wouldnt wish 3 upon my worst enemies. Painfully rubbish network, backed by dire customer service.

I got 12GB for £11 from them
I've used three for the past 7 years and they have such horrible signal in the north east, north west and east Midlands (only places ive used three frequently) can probs get about 3/5 bars if I'm lucky in my home, and when I'm out, I'll be lucky to get 4G, honestly pay the extra £2 a month for someone like O2, I'm only with three because of the deal I have, wuntu is gone, really find no incentive to stay with three other than my plan/price.
Is there a credit check?
Already with Three, how would I go about keeping my number and getting this?
anyone know how the cashback redemption on fonehouse works, do you have to send copies of your bill every month and within a certain time period?

Yeah, Three gets bashed in all these posts and honestly probably rightly so. They've been consistently poor for me too (based in the East Midlands). Even in major cities it seems like you'll still get faster speeds on another network (friends on both EE and O2 with a basic side by side website page load).

They're cheaper than the others for a reason, but saying that aside from some places where I got absolutely no signal (North Yorkshire and South Wales as two notable examples), its tolerable so I stuck with them.

That is until recently (cue sinister music)! I tried to get the £10 deal through Fonehouse (unlimited everything for a tenner w/cashback) but keep my number. What a faff - got to wait 30 days at the higher price, despite being out of contract, or mess about with a payg sim from another provider, swap the number to that, then back to three. The lady on the phone was pretty shirty about it as well when I pointed out its easier to leave Three than stay, so she offered me a special 'deal' - £10 p/m for 6 months, then £22 for the remaining 18.

Well, since you've made it easier to leave than stay, I guess leave I shall .

But hey you might have a good experience, and if you can bare the faffing about, trying a payg sim with them isn't a bad idea

Just cancelled £10 deal with EE that I took out a few days ago for my daughters upcoming birthday and ordered this instead.

First phone so she should be fine with Three for 12months then I'll take her over to EE so I can data share.

Thanks OP
YMMV, but for me, unlimited dropped calls, unlimited rubbish d/l speeds.

Three are poor. Having moved over from EE, it's one of my few cellular regrets!

North London and Central London. Just poor. EE a lot better.

woops, thanks, never used cashback redemption for sim cards before, cheers
Everyone be careful of Sim Swapping Scam Hack. Theres stories circulating online that even hourly paid employees within the network excepting bribes from hackers to make this scam hack easier and a victim can lose £thousands. Networks are clever and have clauses in their contract stating they are not liable for their employees negligence.

Sim swap hack scam is the new ID theft nowadays.

Before signing up to a new sim card clarify with the network asking them what they can do to prevent this sim swap scams that are on the rise. If they cant guarantee in writing or prevent this then dont sign up with the network period.

Forgot to say that you notice that your a victim of this scam when you see 'No Service/Signal' on your phone screen.

I think the SMARTY deal is so much better than this if you can get good coverage, which I have. My full family is on the group plan and it’s super cheap!

Unfortunately you'd need to transfer your number out to another Network on a pay as you go SIM, then transfer back in to Three as a new customer
Signed up to Three last year when they had similar £10 pm deals with TCB, after years with Virgin. Big mistake, HUGE!!

Bad data signals at home in SE London, central London when phone is showing full bars, constantly have to turn 4G down to 3G just to get any connection, and using WIFI outside whenever I could instead.

These deals are cheap and inclusive of everything for a reason. Cant wait to switch to EE or Vodafone when my contract runs out in July.

No worries, best thing to do is set an event on your calendar to remind you to send off your bills :-)

I had several cashback by redemption deals but the last I had was a Nokia N95 so that shows how long ago that was

I've now got a cashback by redemption one with fone house for a SIM only with three. Not claimed yet as I've only had it a few weeks but so far impressed with fone house and their web portal :-).

Yup, thanks, have gone for this, think i'll have to! What's the contract you're on now?
Just checked with neighbours and they said Three is awful so have cancelled this. Looking for another EE deal now...
