This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

There's ultimate unlimited SIM only package half price for first 6 months. Then £20 a month there after.

24 month plan
Unlimited minutes
Unlimited texts
Unlimited Data
5G Ready at no extra cost
Personal Hotspot Tethering
Go Roam Around the World.

Not for everyone but I'm a three fan and this beats my £20 a month for the same tariff. Just means committing to 24 rather than the standard 12 months.

Surely the student deal at same package for 16 a month (16x24=384) is the better way to go?

Brace yourself for the flood of "Cold, I got this for £10 a month and loads of free credit" comments.

It's still good value though if you missed out on the glitch the other month, heated.

Just wish I got a good Three signal
They say "unlimited data" but then the terms state "up to 30GB" doesn't that mean its limited.

Just heard via Three complaints chat a local mast (in London) is getting upgraded by the 9th November. Chat person said they are aware it is congested in the area at that mast and the upgrade to 5g will resolve the speed issues for everyone. Will believe it when I experienced greatly improved speeds. I was previously told the upgrade will take place in November. A more specific date is good to know.

London is friggen enormous! I don't think an upgraded mast will cut it, unless they are doing something across the entire city.

I recently took out and swiftly cancelled the contract because I couldn't even use google maps in my car because the internet kept on cutting out, and I can't even stream Spotify on the DLR on my way to work.

It's not fit for purpose. Ive travelled to a lot of countries around the world and even developing countries have better coverage.

They will be upgrading all the masts eventually to 5g in London as far as I am aware. I don't work for them. Just saying in my area of London the mast is supposed to be upgraded by the date I stated. I have been given £60 credit and a home signal device to keep as a result of my online chat to them this evening. Not bad when added to the previous credit they gave me. Nearly works out as a free contract for one sim on unlimted everything.

Hahaha... How'd you know?
Thanks for posting @jayuk666 we have added this to the Highlights pages
Currently with Three, upgrade is next week, so got a month left on my current.
Tempted to get this and then get a phone from Apple directly. If my calculations are correct it will be about £50 saving
even the £18/mo for 12 months is better than this if you combine it with cashback, and if you add an ac.uk email address you can knock £2 per month off and get it down to £16/mo for 12 months
Got this deal a last month, very happy with it, especially with the cashback!

Speeds are good for me in London.
Does 3 offer 5g currently?
Don't forget quidco
Totally crap network I’m not even getting 1mb on EE I’m getting well over 100mb
If you're happy to do cashback (I mean mobile cashback, not Quidco/Topcashback), then you can get much cheaper deals than this. E.g. around £20 a month, but with £150+ in cashback.

A lot of people avoid mobile cashback as it used to be so difficult to do. But these days it's either paid automatically or very easy to do on the provider's website. So worth trying if you want a cheap deal.

They tried this on me to get me on a £20pm with 6 months at £10. I said no to the deal, although nearly said yes. I got on chat on the app and said that it wasn't in my interest to move to a more expensive tarrif and that I had been loyal blah de blah de blah. They said I could keep my current deal indefinitely (I screenshot this, but don't think they will honor it) so that is £13.30 per month. Hopefully they won't increase the price too much over the next year or two.

Anyway the deal with cashback for new customers is actually a really good one. Obviously you won't get the cashback for existing customers but the deal is still OK.

Congrats.

You clearly never travel out of the three mast you seem to be living in, because the rest of london has absolutely terrible signal. For example, how is there no 4G in the city? As in the square mile.

If you ever use your phone for sat Nav or streaming across London, forget it. It doesn’t work.

This persons speeds are not representative of the reception here.
Lol, Three deals still being pushed down our throats. Some people get great speeds but most get absolutely crap reception compared to EE and O2
I don’t get how this is hot. I pay £6.50 per month rolling monthly. Unlimited everything
Sim only tho. I have had this deal for about 3 years and got my wife the same deal 6 months ago. All I did was call them and ask for the best deal possible please

I pay £20 unlimited everything, been with them since 2012, longest I ever have with any network. Wouldn’t offer me anything.
Been on 3 for the last couple of years .. Its getting really bad in my area. I don't know if that is because they have reached saturation with regards their infrastructure . My usual locations now struggle to get 1.5mb dl. Recently i needed to use satnav and i did not get any data at all. I raised this with CS and they said its known issue and they needed to upgrade due to too many connections Since rolling out 5g its getting worse not better
Is it possible to use the Three Refer a Friend link and Quidco?
I pay £16 for the same plan, on a 12 month contact. That means I pay £384 instead of £420 (if I had it for 24 months)

Is your £13.13 contract all unlimited?
If you are out of contract with three just contact them via live chat to try and match the deal. It’s gotta be worth a go. Many are successful in dropping their monthly by quite a bit. Besides why should you be paying more than newbies anyway ?

I contacted them and they did match it but I would be missing out on the £70 cash back
I've been with three for years (old plan with data add-on) & between 3g/4g I usually have decent coverage in most places. For the last 2 years used for maps & streaming music most days while working throughout the day, no general issues. At home 4g 50Mbps average but at times can be slower & 4g+ oddly slower as I think it's newly upgraded in my area.

Valid there are areas where data speeds are slow & they obviously need to upgrade capacity, 5g will take time for all networks, it's barely available in central London with three, didn't check all the others.

If you want it for long term, better try smarty for a month to see if the speed is ok.

As for data, advanced and fully unlimited plans are not restricted, even the data add-on.

If roaming, there is some limit on data usage abroad...

12gb, 15gb, 19gb depending on sim plan or roaming destination.
I find 3g is better than 4G ( 3.5 Mbps v Less than 1.5 Mbps, that too when available).

Willy wavers, them lot. No idea where that supposedly £ 2 billion investment has gone!
I can’t wait till I’m off this network. The 4G quality is awful where I am. Maybe it’s better for others elsewhere but hands down worst signal I’ve ever had.

Been told this every time I've ever complained to three about 4g speeds. It's a lot of rubbish.
Someonetookmyusername10/10/2019 14:52

Currently a three customer, anyone know if I can get this?

Quite likely. Go on live chat and speak politely. If they can offer it, they will.
Pass, it’s barely acceptable at £10 for 24 months for me with the bad reception they have!
