Three used to be good here in Plymouth. But for the last six months or so they have been rubbish. I certainly can't recommend them at the moment.

Be wary of these deals they can be a bit of a hassle. Last year they had it for £10 a month. After I ordered it the contract they provided with the sim stated £10 for 6 months then £20 per month for duration of the contract. I called them up and luckily had taken screenshots so they honoured it.

Can you PM me the screenshots please? I’m in the same boat, I ordered at £10 p/m for two years, after 6 months they’ve started charging me £20 and I’ve no way to prove it!

Stay clear of three, hardly any 4g signal for me and they pull crap like this

It is true as I too signed up for that deal. Quite a large following in HUKDs... Think we shamed them into honouring the deal. Put simply they made a mistake.
Unlimited data does sound good but it’s worth checking your past bills to see how much data you actually use, you may be surprised.
3g speeds crap , 4g speeds are slower than their 3g speeds and 5g is non existant.

So true. Lucky if I get 2 bars of signal indoors in Peverell. One bar of 4G downstairs and the speed is dreadful

Worst network ever with even worse customer service.
Today I was transferred, on chat to speak to 2nd line support. My queue number was 14 and I had to wait 2 hours to get through only to be disconnected by advisor.
I started chat again and again was transferd only this time queue number was 113.
Save ur time and money. Look for another service provider.

In so many years they have not improved in majority of areas. Good deal for someone who has good coverage.

And things seem to have got even worse tonight. They should have all their licences taken away. But still they keep trying to sell to new customers when they can't even provide a decent service to those that have been with them for years. Disgraceful.

And they claim that they have 5G in Plymouth. A subset of Honicknowle, and they're claiming the whole of Plymouth.

Liars!

I never get anything but fast, helpful and attentive customer care whenever I use live chat, and I get high connection quality and speed where I am...in Maidenhead. I highly rate Three...

My wife has been on 3 for years, its not as fast as my EE sim, but the fact my wife can tether my daughters iPads when we're out of the house, without data worries is brilliant. Its also good (not great speeds but good for maps etc) for abroad. Ive used in places such as USA, Hong Kong, Indonesia and its been fine for light browsing and ordering Ubers. We live in the north-west and our signal is great all of the time but its defiantly slower in London, although weve never had issues with no signal.

Assuming you have a good 3 signal at work and home, its a great deal (and assuming you never need to call 3 customer service)

They'll ask you the date and time you placed the order as they said there was a small window when orders went through and they'll honour those. I can't remember the date but the time is on my screenshot. Good luck.
