ZTE MF622 USB Modem

Standard cost for modem without contract is £99.99 If you want to use it occasionally then this is a far cheaper option than contract:-
£10 - Broadband Lite (1Gb for 30 days)
£15 - Broadband Plus (3Gb for 30 days)
£25 - Broadband Max (7Gb for 30 days)
Of course if you plan to use the device every month then a contract is best as the modem may then be free/cheaper depending on package.

£99.99 - £10 Voucher and Quidco £2.25 = £87.74

**********
Broadband is now mobile and stylish. The ZTE USB modem not only gives you broadband Internet access speeds on the move, it makes a statement.

You get freedom from wires and hotspots, and access to the Internet at breakneck speeds while looking good. Just plug in your slim and sexy dongle and youll be surfing the web in just five minutes. And when youre in a Turbo Network area youll get lightening web access speeds of up to 2.8MBps. Its as fast as a fixed line, but you can use it wherever and whenever you want to.

The super lightweight ZTE USB modem needs a few things to run smoothly. Your computer or laptop needs a minimum of 50MB hard disk space, 1 free USB port, a Windows 2000, XP, Vista or and Mac OSX operating system. You dont have to worry about being fiddling with settings because the USB auto-installs its quick and easy.

The great user-friendly Modem Manager interface not only manages your connection, it displays all the messages you receive on your mobile broadband number. You can even reply to your text messages while logged in. Plus youll get the very best Internet speeds with 3s Reception Diversity, which improves the coverage in buildings and makes sure you stay on our Turbo Network as long as you possibly can.

Ensure that you purchase enough PAYG bandwidth for that 30 day period as currently going over your limit is charged at £1 per Mb!

Do you ever post anything worth reading?

Does anyone know if this is Mac compatible?

Yes it is, the ZTE comes with Mac drivers and works fine on a Mac.

If you are buying for a Windows based computer / laptop buy the E220 version instead as the ZTE can cause problems when installing, and in return does not work until you change the settings. The E220 software is also better in my opinion.

The E220 works on a Mac too, but usualy does not come with a CD in the box. You have to download the drivers or the store will provide the cd seperately.

Personally I chose the ZTW as I was told this "newer" type, although it acts the same as the E220 now it will run faster in the future once the 3 network has some changes, form memory it was about twice as fast as the current speed.

Anyone know how can you get this at the student rate without actually being or knowing a student?

Get an ISIC card from here at a cost of £10 which acts as proof that you are a recognised student. statravel.co.uk/cps…htm

You can use this card to obtain a young persons railcard and other stuff.

I'm 32 and getting away with it...

Enjoy

They've had a big price drop loo on the three website , for more details. The 3 dongles with a usb cable are now £49.99 , only the modem stick is now £49.99 & they all seem to be the same speed.

Can anyboby send me the driver mac for the zte mf622 or can tell
where I can download it ?
I'll appreciate your help

thanks
