Good game. Proper knackers you out.
It's worth saying that to use this game properly, you need a VERY large playing area!

They're all too busy playing with themselves...
Thanks, just purchased it.
I heard this game can make you fit but can it teach you how to fight?

No. If you know how to box you will be better at the game, but if you don’t the game will not make you better at boxing. It is a fantastic workout though.

It’s true that to get the very most out of the game you need a large playing area, but it’s very playable even with an area slightly less than the recommended space. I have mostly used it in a slightly smaller than recommended space and have had no issue moving around my opponent. Still well worth a purchase even if you don’t quite have the recommended space.

Are you sure it cant teach some Something like Muscle.memory, improve reaction?
You will have a proper sweat on after playing this game.

If you don't box at all then it'll probably teach you lots of bad habits but it may also improve your general fitness and develop an ability to swing a punch.
Great game just played a few rounds helps get some stress of being stuck in the house out the system!

Improving muscle memory is pointless if your technique is wrong, and the game does not teach you technique. In the same vein, you're reacting to a virtual model throwing punches at you. That is not at all like having an actual, living breathing person in front of you. Your reactions may well improve to the pre programmed AI opponents, but that won't help your reactions at all when boxing a real person. The game is a great workout, but if you want to learn how to box you need to find someone in real life to teach you. Once you've done that you can certainly practise in the game, but the game itself won't teach you how to box.
Few other sales on quest apps too. Worth checking everyday.

It does help but not 100% needed. I actually only stand on the spot due to not that much space and u can still do it.
It does help a bit if u can move about and circle around the opponent though but I unfortunately just have to block, duck lean back etc then punch!
Which actually works out better for toning lol

I agree. I'm also going to buy Acron: Attack of the Squirrels! (This one looks like a fun multiplayer) and Space Pirate Trainer - both on sale. Love the Quest - it's helping during this period of isolation.

SPT not bad, gets a bit monotonous but probably cause I’m not that good at it. Thinking of death horizon reloaded too, few quid off that at moment too.
Funny to see how different people play this game. Some just run round in circles. Some stand and fight and other look like boxers. There are some special levels to which are challenging such as a ghost in a hinge on which you can only punch when they attack you when they become properly visible.

Cool so don’t need a rift. Just asked on the thumper thread about. Also seen titans of space reduced on rift too as well as waltz of the wizard quid off. So assume same for all as mention the quest.

Nope you defo don't need a Rift. Thumper was the first title I have cross bought. When buying it warned me that I don't have a registered Rift device. I still went ahead and bought it. Then went I turned on my Oculus Quest and went to the title in the Store, it changed from £14.99 to Free, and I just downloaded it. Lovely jubbly.

Awesome spot on those 2 titles - i love a good cross-bought bargain! Thumper was a steal at £7.99 cross bought. I will check those 2 out.

Out of interest, have you got a special method of locating Rift titles available for cross buying? Like are you part of some sort of notification group, or a Reddit group or something?

Literally just did a google search and have added titles found to a rift wish list so will check on a daily basis.

Here’s what I found: vrfocus.com/201…es/

offical oculus list list available which shows loads of cross buys. Saved a tenner on two I mentioned yesterday.
