Rated as the best starter steering wheel for Xbox One and PS4. Smyths Toys have both in stock at various locations around the UK. I ordered from Tamworth who had 7 Xbox versions. Most are collect in store. Cheapest I could find. Argos was next with stock but £79.99.

I'd highly recommend paying more for a force feedback wheel. Admittedly …I'd highly recommend paying more for a force feedback wheel. Admittedly you won't achieve it at this price point but you'd get a far better experience. I have a thrustmaster 150 and you can really feel when the back end is stepping out on you.

I'd highly recommend paying more for a real Ferrari. Admittedly you won't get one at this price.................etc etc.. ya know what I mean 😁

Thanks for sharing. Great level entry wheel. But to get “feel” of what the car does (ie. shake or twitch) you need force feedback. The rumble of a pad simulates things to react to. This wheel has no forcefeedback or rumble features.
It's been this price for a while

Agree with you on this. Sometimes second hand TMX wheels can be picked up for sub-100, seen a few on gumtree for 80-90. The 458 without any FFB will feel like a toy compared to the TMX
I still want to get my old X360 wheel working again, I found a device that worked with it but they're not in the UK...
I wouldn't touch one of these to be honest...I'd put the money into TMX wheel mentioned or TX

Thanks for the advice. I only have Forza 7 and its the first game of a car racing type I've had. Doing ok with the controller but this us a first step up and within my budget. If I get hooked I'll eBay it and take your advise and upgrade. Cheers.

Yep agree but this is my first. So ill see how it goes. I might not even like racing games but a few guys in work have forza 7 so ill join in until the fun stops. Im mainly a COD player so this us a big change.
I looked on e*ay but don't trust that ill get a decent clean working device. They are selling for a reason and most either look tatty or are well overpriced for second hand. This entry level will do me for now. But thanks for the input.
My son has asked for one of these for his Xbox one s to play Forza horizon 3. I have no idea about them. What's better for Xbox one s a thrustmaster tmx or 150 Ferrari edition both are £140 or is there something better in the same price range?

Good luck with it! Racing with any wheel is way better than a control pad anyway, also the Forza 7 career is great! Try not to eventually get caught in the trap of constant upgrades to the expensive wheels, it certainly hurts wallets
This is a good wheel, but not very strong. Ours lasted a year and then some plastic snapped inside meaning the bungee cord stopped working.

thrustmaster weren’t interested so I had to throw it away.
My youngest has one and loves it. Great starter wheel.
Voted cold. Very poor steering wheel. Returned ours on boxing day as it wouldnt calibrate with the Xbox One properly. There were two other customers in front of us returning theirs also. There were also returns of these piled up in their store to be returned. Staff said they had a lot of problems with them. Ours was sold to us and had been previously sold to someone else as it had their name on a sticker on the box. Our son was left very dissapointed at Xmas. Buy a more expensive one.

I take it all. SMYTHS TOYS sent me a very abrupt auto mated "DO NOT REPLY" "ORDER CANCELLED" but glad I ended up not buying if that is what their customer service is like. I sent a good snotagram complaining but got a " sorry we were out if stock" even the the shop shows 7 in stock. Obviously a hook to get pepper details on on the online site. Maybe it was meant to be and I should just rake advice a buy a bettermodelbut from a REPUTABLE trader certainly not SMYTHS TOYS R NOT US .... BET YOU CAN TELL... I'm angry...

Was that because you have a reinforced bottom?

I won't use Smyths ever again. The showed product in stock ( more than 10) I checked with the shop then ordered. Next morning received an abrupt email " ORDER CANCELLED " with no detail as to the reason why. As a Result, missed my grandsons Birthday as the item I ordered was hard to get hold of anywhere else. Poor customer service and web site management.
