If you are in the market for a towbar bike rack then Decathlon are doing a couple that are £40-£100 cheaper than rival stores.

The Easyway G2 weighs 13Kg and will carry 52Kg and the Europower 916 which weighs 17Kg (!) but will carry 60Kg.

Here is a decent review of them plus a couple of others.

Every bike rack has its pros n cons . I use Seasucker these days, expensive but easy to use.

How do u find them? I've been tempted but not seen anyone use them yet, do the hold ok? Do they distort or damage ur roof ?

I have a bomber which holds 3 and a Talon which holds 1. I use the Talon on the rear boot window. It literally takes 15 seconds to pump the 3 vacuums and 5 seconds to release them all.I can position my bike on the back so it doesnt obstruct lights or no plate etc.
The bomber I use on the roof and takes 1 minute to setup.
They are extremely secure though a bit daunting at first but you soon gain the trust. There is no movement or wobble. My MTB is a hefty rig as I use it with my sons co-rider bike seat and probably weighs about 18kgs in all.
They come with 9mm fork mounts but I just bought the adapter for my rockshox maxle.
They do not damage or scratch the glass or roof.
