Lords Cricket Matches General Tickets on Sale starting from £38

Ticking off this my bucket list. Many different days/dates available. England - Ireland Match from £38 England - South Africa from £95 (Below 16 tickets are for £20) - Bank holi… Read more

Eh? When did you see Lord's a quarter full for a test match? If they didn't sell all the seats at £95 then they'd lower prices but (like Premiership football clubs) they don't have to as people will pay.

ECB took the Sky £££ No live cricket on terrestrial TV. Big central contracts & a huge support staff have to be paid for. Too many test grounds with not enough games to go around. Counties facing financial ruin. But ECB doing alright! I stopped going to international games 6-7 years ago. Cost of a day out for is just astronomical

£95 for a ticket against South Africa, £240 for a family of 4 plus travel etc so probably getting on for £400 for one day of cricket. The price of tickets in the U.K. Is appalling, sick of seeing 1/4 full stadiums, the ECB have it completely wrong in my book.

"England - South Africa from £95" Seriously? That is a scam & a half if correct!

Your Caps Lock key appears to be broken! :p

I just want to see Loards ground

Being honest, these matches are pretty dull. It is a friendly cricket match. Some cricket matches are amusing but even some international matches (today at Lords) were incredibly boring. The quality if cricket isn't great but there isn't any real competition.

Internet cost of viewing this post should also be included :p

Marleybone Cricket Club and The SCG XI is the social playing arm of the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust......regardless it is a free day out at Lords....kids are on holidays chance to take them somewhere and get the experience of Lords all for free (well travel costs and food not included in that FREE aspect).......better than them sitting indoors playing xbox etc

Thanks. Voted hot!

Not a bad place to go to, relax in the sun have a few drinks and watch some free cricket :)

All MCC matches - so pretty sub-standard level (lesser than county matches) & Lords will be half empty, well so my colleague reckons!

Also free : Wed 4 May - MCC v MCC Young Cricketers Thu 5 May - MCC East Anglia v MCC West Midlands Tue 26 July - MCC v Hong Kong Cricket Club Mon 22 August - MCC v Club Cricket Conference Mon 5 September - MCC Schools v ESCA

http://www.lords.org/tickets/information-availability/ this tells you all. I suppose you just turn up. BTW it is Thu 21st April, not 27th. The official page on Lord's website (link in OP) has it wrong in the announcement, correct on the right hand side and on the tickets page!
