dammmmmnn LOVE them and missed out - sigh I imagine they will end up on ebay :-(

SL1988

Are people that obsessed with freebies. If you dont want what is being offered DONT order them! Ruins it for people that actually want to go. Same with those SFF tickets, I wonder how many people who order them go and watch the film. I would have loved to go to this event, I bet a large number of people who got these will try and sell them on or wont even bother to go. Get a grip!

dann2000

Tickets are still available but be quick.

HOW DID I GET TWO TICKETS :D

if anyone has any spares will take them off yours hands live literally down the road cheers

elmoses

... and a pretty darn funny line it is! ;o)

afroylnt

Ok as his commercial work is as funny as the Jubilee line....

elmoses

Changed the post to include that (although I did state there was a booking fee initially)

elmoses

Harry stand up is amazing. I have been into him for years, way back before Burp and You've Been Framed. To see his true genius, you MUST see him live... totally different to his commercial work...

goodgrr

A deal is a deal regardless of if it is your taste. Can you get these cheaper anywhere else? NO, so hot for me.

I think anyone who isn't a 12 year old girl may be past it in this case! :D

Julan

Not for me but heat given for the cause!! i maybe a bit past it i guess oO

Great charity, pity about the line up :( You'd think bigger names would sign up for such a worthwhile cause

Went to see these in Nottingham. Would want paying to go see them again - truly awful. - Voted hot as it's a free gig, but beware!

abarthman

Went to see them in Edinburgh last week. Same deal. I'm not a fan of the Hoosiers (I only really know their hit singles), but they were really excellent. The gig was being filmed for C4, so they were really giving it their all and laying it on thick for the cameras - lots of guitar solos, rock star poses and band interaction, etc. There were loads of promo girls, dressed in Russian-style fur hats and sparkly dresses, giving out free t-shirts if you bought a vodka. There were some promo blokes dressed Cossack-style for the ladies too! Check the winter festival photos on the Russian Standard Facebook page to get the idea. I recommend that you get yourself along to this gig if you get a chance.

Magurdrac

Awful band, but free is free, and someone must like them.

monkey_whiskers

Thanks OP - got some and OH is very pleased!

Going to see Paloma tonight. Cheers for posting the deal :)

justingalore

Kelis now sold out. Bit of a relief that they aren't just giving out infinite tickets!

goodgrr

That only works to a point as they won't issue more than their capacity. Better to list any spares on here or even the wanted/offered cinema thread would be better than just not using them.

goodgrr

Most headliners are 9 to 9:30 but wouldn't guarantee that.

Hazza306

Yeah Gravy Boats theres no need to exploit the system and I hope your just messing. I got lots of tickets too but If I dont attend then more people just get in at the door. Does anybody know what time the headliners start? It says doors open at seven and we get guaranteed entry by 8.30. Hope its early cos got work the next days :S

Good stuff - though I couldn't get into their second album and never got round to listening to the third. Same thing happened with the Yeah Yeah Yeah's though, and I'm currently loving It's Blitz! Maybe the same effect? :? The geeky part of me loves the fact that one of their inspirations is Escaflowne

stevey_p7

'give me one more chance, give me one more chance to love you' :whistling: Absolutely love that tune, hope everyone has heard the Tiesto remix too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwfAvDlmWF8

awoodhall2003

exactly, and their DJ sets are still normally pretty hench! :-D

stevey_p7

I'm pretty sure Bloc Party's tunes will be played heavily here. Plus if your close by and stuck for something to do on Friday night then £8 to see this should be awesome.

Justaddwater

Its not really Bloc Party though is it? its just the one dude there choosing songs to play.
