I know this has been posted before, but with the Spotify deal getting it's heat 99p for 3 months thought I would remind everyone

Been using it for the last 6 months, very good
This service provides lossless music.

I don't really get the excitement around that for myself. It's very rare that I'm *properly* listening to music on good enough equipment in the right surroundings where the sound quality might be noticed over a high quality steam from Deezer or Spotify.
So none of these....

Can we expire this deal because it’s no longer working for UK users :-(

I (and others above) have tried different email addresses and different payment methods (Visa Debit and MasterCard credit card) and also over 21. Errror message: “Sorry, cannot start subscription - you are not allowed to signup to this campaign.“ the button says continue to frontpage and a new offer of 99p for 3 months.

They do music streaming like Spotify, Deezer etc.
Anyone know if this works with Google minis?
Thanks!
If you want Tidal HiFi you can get it for 3 months free with this offer.
Tidal has been voted no 1 for streaming it has 50 million tracks etc, it’s good.

As a native streaming service no it does not.
There is is no option to use Tidal on Google Home or Amazon Echo.
I imagine the only way to have this working is to cast the music to the device. for that, someone with Tidal will need to confirm.
No decent Xmas songs on Tidal, just saying as it’s Xmas 😁
Heat, but not really interested...
So none of these....

I've had 2 of these 6 months subs now. Have every artist that I've ever searched for and the service just works.

How about someone who spends most if their days in a quiet office with a nice stereo system setup.
Only a 30 day trial shows for me?

I have used Tidal with a chrome audio cast hifi standard through a good sound system and it does not cast but streams from the internet once selected Spotify works in the same way
Ipad select music play list play music you can then turn off the Ipad if you wish.

I would make use of the lossless music if it wasn’t for the fact that the world has moved towards Bluetooth headphones and speakers and none of the ones I have support Apt X so I wouldn’t be able to hear the difference 👎🏼

Dunno... You'll have to ask them!

I might be totally wrong, but I reckon to hear the difference between Tidal and high-quality Spotify you would have to be actively listening on equipment that costs in the high thousands, in an "acoustically designed" room.

I've currently got this free 6 months, finishes about end of January. Anyone know when this particular freebie expires :/
Btw as soon as you sign up go to account settings and cancel if you don't want to pay in 6 months (it still let's you have your 6 months of free streaming) you can also cancel via PayPal if that's how you pay(party)

Apt X or Apt X HD wouldn't be good enough for lossless, you would need LDAC, I would expect LDAC to be adopted by lots of devices in the future as its now part of Android 8.

In any case you can just buy a EarStudio ES100 or a FiiO BTR3, both support all formats including LDAC.

Does this have basically the same songs as Spotify. Apple iTunes etc ?

And is there a way to stream lower quality ? I would only be listening on a cell phone and have to pay for the data.....

Thanks
Like others here, I too have been really impressed with the Tidal catalogue. Very slick app too.

I used this link but it still ends up taking me to a page offering a 30 day free trial?
