Warning, quality of these is shocking
Sorry, but I would imagine that if a bloke was going to the trouble of wearing cuff links and tie, he would pick something a tad classier!
people with neg comments good deal and can be used just for occassions people dont generally buy alot of cuffs they r always in the sale so if ur wearing them only once in awhile ideal so NK 74 not to your taste but some people will appreciate the deal
The tie is basically a slight one up on wearing one cut out of cardboard and coloured in with a crayon.
Classy
You'll find some 'enterprising' people have put these on E-bay starting at £0.99!!

Now I know where the CarCraft staff get their ties.
Sort of thing recently released cons wear when they knock on your door selling you towels whilst scouting your house for what to rob
wear them to an interview for a job you don't really want. im all for savings but some things you should spend a little more than a pound on.
I bought these from amazon before christmas, about a fiver each! Looked ok to me but then i wasnt going to wear them.

Yes, for a hundred pence I would have expected finest South Indian Silk.
Can someone edit it so the price is in the title
270 degrees, despite the comments. But I bet if you didn't know they are £1 you would say they are more then acceptable.
If only you could put these in Harrods for £50 as a reduced price from £100 . WHAT A BARGAIN that would be. get the idea ?
With regards to quality; I worked at the UKs largest wholesale supplier of jewellery in QC and I can reliably inform you that the vast majority of gold / silver jewellery, regardless of its 'value', is made in factories in Thailand at an absolutely rock-bottom price and the general quality of manufacture is shocking. I hate buying jewellery now just because I know how low quality the construction is and how overpriced it all is. Cost of manufacture, shipping and assaying is about 5% of what you pay in even the cheapest shops. Closer to 2 or 3% in high class jewellery shops product lines (but still the same quality of manufacture as Argos / Asda etc).

I'd rather pay £1 for this tin tat than £30+ for some gold tat.
These are great for £1.

Shocking!
Its a quid for a tie and cufflinks - how **** would it have to be for you to feel ripped off!
I don't see why there are so many negative comments! Some ties that cost a fortune are not that great a quality. I thought this site was for people to inform people of deals that they came across... Not a slanging match of stuck up people who this spending £1 on something is beneath them!!
i look forward to the first pound shop suit!
just because something is cheap doesnt automatically mean its a deal. buying something thats awful is an expensive mistake.
The ties are literally disgraceful. Very very bad quality, sort of like plastic, and also very short.

The cufflinks are ok if you get ones that have been manufactured to a high enough standard. Open the box to check the hinge on them first.

Worth it for the cuff links if you need some in a hurry but if you're buying it for the tie forget it.
Saw these the other day. Didn't look too closely but they looked OK. Didn't strike me as particularly nasty. Will take a closer look next time I'm in there.
Poundland and 99p Stores have been selling these for the last couple of years, nothing new here. (_;)

You can't tar all jewellery shops with the same brush. So you worked in the industry.
What about jewellery shops in this country that still make their own jewellery on the premises?!!?
Take this one for example
hamandhuddy.co.uk/
Not all that relevant to the OP but neither was your own comment. You can't compare novelty gifts from poundland with high class jewellery.
WHAT A SCORCHER!
well my son who is 9 bought me this when he was out with his mother and im made up with them,ok not brilliant quality but hey just the same as the ones sold in next and other stores, made up with them
Gosh how funny that people are so snooty! Fab deal, fab post. Heat

I was thinking the same. In the words of Officer Barbrady "move along people, nothing to see here..."

But have they been selling them continuously during that time?

How much do they cost?

How much do they cost?

Who and what currency? For example they just cost me a few minutes of my time and they cost you your dignity.
honestly, for the sake ov a quid its suerly ideal for someone within a work place, heat from from me
I gave you heat cos it's a good deal......however I would not let my husband wear such a cheap looking tie!
Nobody is expected to ever wear these, they are stocked as cheap presents for other people.
How many people did a 'secret santa' and were overjoyed to receive these???
