This will get hot!!

Amazing. I know all about Tiger Balm and its history, and have even been to the Tiger Balm Gardens where it was created, but I've never used it nor seen it for sale in UK shops. So what's it like and how effective is it?

Just be sure to scrub your hands thoroughly after use before touching any sensitive body parts. I speak from experience.

ouch!!!!! lol

ROAR!

Wrong picture - this is Wild Tiger Balm, made in China, not the true Tiger Balm from Thailand / Singapore.
Not as strong or as good a product, IMHO.

Why don't they sell Bak Fa Yau in the UK.

Great product if you have insect bites or itchy skin and much stronger than the stuff you get from the UK.

We bring over several bottles every time we come back to the UK from HK.http://i50.tinypic.com/2ihntxu.jpg

Wrong picture on the original post. This is Wild Tiger Balm, not the true Tiger Balm. Made in China and not Thailand / Singapore like the original. Not as strong or as effective IMHO.

Also, MOPIKO is very good for bites/itchy skin. I use the red version which is stronger I think.http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41EJgXOaQCL._AA300_.jpg

Just a heads up, dont use Tiger Balm if you are pregnant, i remember reading a article in a paper many moons ago about how it can affect the unborn baby. Although this stuff isnt as strong as the original, i would still be wary.

I know they sell it in Chinatown and Chinese supermarkets of course. What I meant was, why don't they sell it in Boots or Tesco like Tiger Balm.

Because most of us have good skin and don't get insect bites. That's why it's not a big market in the UK
