To confirm, I've just got back from PC World with my copy at the price mentioned.

Do you have to get a print out from morrisons?

you dont need a printout as long as the pc world guy phones morrisons who can confirm they have stock

Yeah, the guy on the till phoned up when I asked him to. He initially wanted a printout, but a phone call was good enough.

that's if the morrisons near has it in stock though :-(

PC World don't require that the item is in stock at the store they phone for the price check. At least I don't believe mine did.

they should do else they could match 'phantom' offers.

they do require it to be in stock for definate

Well all I know is the bloke in PC World just asked Morrisons what the current price was, he never once asked them if it was in stock.

Maybe I just got lucky.

morrisons is not listed on pc worlds price psomise:s

"This applies to prices offered by retailers within 30 miles of your local PC World store and the UK websites listed below. The competitor must have the item in stock and website prices must include delivery. Single unit purchases only."

:x ollocks - and I thought I'd got a deal @ £24 from tescos with some vouchers ..............

bleeding morrisons !!

Why is this not hotter? The Morrisons price is hot on it's own!?

probably as its common sense that this would work though it can be alot of hassle verifying stock etc.

I have around 20 stores within a 30 miles of the store.

I've printed off the list with all the contact numbers of the morrison stores and I'm looking forward to seeing their reaction when I present it to them.

I'm hoping they'll just hand it over for that price and not bother calling any of them

Because this isn't really a deal. It's using the Price Promise guarantee which is quite general

The 9 closest stores to me have no stock.

I'm sure they must have caught onto this and just removed stock for this week while the Morrisons promotion is on

You're probably right

Can the guys who've gone down to PC WORLD please confirm it works, as the nearest one to me is around 5 miles and I don't really wanna waste my time?

I've just bought it.

They spent roughly 20 minutes calling Morrisons in a 30 mile radius.

They charged me £15.99 for it :?

They wouldn't refund the difference, as they said I had to buy it first and then return it to get the 110% difference. Anyway, I'm not complaining

If they do that they are creating more work for themselves - you should have bought then asked for the difference to be refunded there and then if they wanted to be pedantic about the 110%.
I dont see why they charged 99p more - thats not much of a match, you got it cheaper than they initially offered but you should be complaining as they are being deliberately awkward and misleading to try and get out of it.

They dont 'need' to do it that way either - they just select an option in the menu which says 'price match guarantee' or something and can type in any price they want manually.
Thats why different people get it for different amounts - in general the people putting the deals through dont have the brains to work it out correctly giving small (or large if really dumb) differences.
Always do the calculation before you go in to find what the final price and/or 10% difference would be to check.

Please can someone list what's in the chart? I don't have a Morrison's near me.
