I just wouldn't trade with these cowboys again, on principle - 'good punt' or not.

thanks for posting op bought 2 nice price.

Even cheaper with Quidco:)))

Thanks for posting OP, ordered and heated.

Really good deal! You won't get it cheaper than a quid in local shops even pound land!

Always need spares of these and being black - less likely to loose - ie leave in hotel socket! HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Prefer the ones with the extra circular holes on the ends of the Live and Neutral so I can plug in say a toothbrush or shaver 2 pin plug.

Just tried ordering two, but it won't accept anything for less than £10. I know it used to, as I have ordered items costing less than £10 before.

Bought! Good find!

Are you saying that because it's black, it'll be more likely to be a tight fit?

Bought two things from Pixmania - both came with european plugs, and they aren't interested in your complaint. Won't use them due to this. They're FRENCH not British despite the "UK"

Thanks, 3x ordered - easy

I don't want to sound stupid but will these work in Poland? From what I can see they use type C and E plugs in Poland and most other 'EU' plugs seem to say they will work there.

Looks like it's not earthed

tlc had them for around I think 26p each and free postage. Got my draws full now, lol

Put them in a jar with "£10 per day" written on it.

Two different kinds in a pack for £1 in poundland in case anyone can't wait or needs the American version as well

If you had seen the TV program Fake Britain, you would not be so quick to buy cheap unsourced electrical plugs, switches and sockets etc. Can cause fires and burns.

It is as far as I can tell looking at the pictures, most EU sockets have an earthing pin inside the socket and there is an opening in this adapter to connect this to the UK equivalent on your plug.

X) Good idea!

Ordered another 10 due to popular demand!

Thanks OP!
Just ordered 4 of them

1 for my laptop charger, 1 for my camera charger, 1 for my mobile charger, and 1 spare - just in case.

This is a bargain! I can tell you. This adapter is 10A (ampere). I bought this very same adapter from a local electric store in Netherlands for 10 EUROS when I was on my holiday. And I regret that why couldn't I get a couple of those from ASDA at cheaper price when I was still back home in the UK.

I know the ones in ASDA are 7 ampere max and not sure about the Poundland ones, if you could get 10A from Poundland, go ahead and buy them.
Just checked, the ones at Argos are 7.5 Amp. The ones on Tesco's are 7.5 Amp as well. The one on Boots is 7.5 Amp as well.
You can't really get an 10 amp UK to EU adapter in this price.
For people who don't understand Amp (ampere), it's the quantity of electric flow per second.

Anyone travelling to EU should have at least one of these with them. You never know when you may need them

If you go onto the Pixmania site there is another view of the picture and the top most groove does not show an earth connector but that is not to say that the groove underneath does not contain that earth connector. Can anyone who has received one confirm or deny this?
As thecooldude above says these are rated differently 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10 amp so be carefull what you use them for, e.g. a kettle should only be plugged into a 10 amp one, but I dare say someone will come on and say " I've used a kettle in a 7.5 one, no problem. " Well one day it maybe a problem.
