Admittedly not the cheapest brand of rice out there - but I find Tilda a lot nicer than other brand names/supermarket owns.

It's normally £4+ for the 1kg bag, down at £2 until 1st August in Morrisons.
Nationwide offer I believe.

Plenty of stock in my local (Fishponds, Bristol).

Seems to be £3 in tesco at the moment for the same bag - still a good deal if no morrisons nearby.

Been REDUCED AGAIN DOWN TO £1.88 now.

If its rice its got to be Hot hot hot

Good price for tilda...have some heat.

decent price, those interested might want to check out your local asian grocery store... they usually have the massive sacks for a decent price... (obviously individual so cant give any specific prices)

Lovely jubbly.

not bad though i saw a 5kg of Basmati Rice in tesco the other day for £5 not shore what brand or if its thee

iirc this only comes in a thin plastic packaging. The rice that I buy is usually in a plastic tub which is easy to measure and avoids the problem of the packet splitting when opening. i'm voting cold for this reason.

My favorite brand of rice.

Hot price for good rice. Always cooks nice and fluffy

Brill deal and so I bought some....nice rice.

You could pour the bag into the plastic tub

Yeah, It's all about the Asian cash and carries!!

I never pay more than £1 per kg on rice, so this is cold for me.

500g of Basmati Tilda rice was 70 - 80p in Morrisons last month (white and brown)...
Saying that, that's now expired, so good price at £2.

Daft comment, You could easily transfer contents into plastic tub. Not a valid reason to vote cold, just because of packaging....(_;)

Any basmati rice costing £1+ per KG is a ripoff.

Not to split hairs but it is actually £2.22, just been on the television - not me the advert for the rice
