Never misplace your belongings with this white Tile Mate smart tracker. It helps you find your lost items and it’ll attach to almost anything. It works over Bluetooth within 100 feet of your phone, emitting a loud sound to help you find your item. If you’re too far away, the tracker searches for anyone else with the app in range, and uses this to send the tile’s position to you. It works both ways too - use the app to find your keys or bag, or if you’ve lost your phone, the tile will call it for you. It even turns the ringtone on if you’ve left your phone on silent, helping you track it down faster.

Cold - only irresponsible morons need this

I’d personally suggest a moron would be someone who wouldn’t think of someone who might have age related or other memory issues
Thanks
I personally use trackr pixel as tile battery is not user changeable adding yearly cost (battery lasts 1 year)
Be aware - you cant replace the batteries in these from Tile and then you have to buy again (albeit at some sort of discount from Tile themselves) after 12 months. Terrible IMO when you can get plenty of no brand versions of these type of things with replaceable watch battery type cells

Stay clear. As bobbler says you can not replace the battery and try removing a tile once registered to allow it to be registered by someone else and you will find it more difficult than you would imagine. Not easy to do in the app and support is terrible in my opinion...

Price is relatively cheap but better alternatives available.

I'm interested in these alternatives. The lack of replaceable battery is crappy.
I got one of these as a present last year, not much use. It never picked up when it was alerted. The battery lasts less than a year and cannot be replaced and if lost outside it relies on others using same app to alert you.

I would say we should be voting on the price of the product, this is a reasonable deal for anyone who needs this. When compared to the MRP. PS its also there first post, show some XMAS cheer. So hot for price, but would not recommends this as a first choice item.

Well, would an irresponsible moron plan ahead knowing that they were a moron? Surely only responsible morons need this.
I was given one last year but have not replaced it (despite lots of email nagging from Tile). You can also use the tile to find your phone and or tablet but to do this you have to have the app on the phone / tablet and have it turned on and running.
Anybody wanting a cheaper option I have bought a cheap toilet seat to attach to my keys a couple of years ago and have never lost them once.

I actually ordered a LAPA (£20 Amazon) yesterday, should turn up tomorrow I think. Takes a CR2032 so replaceable.

I don't often lose things but recently I've found myself leaving things behind. I blame it on either age or stress. Either way if I walk out of range then now I'll be able to turn back around before I've gone too far. The other month I found myself getting 1.5 hours away from work before realising I had my work keys on me and my home keys were at work... So that was an extra 3 hours travelling that day.

These are useless... similar one on ebay for 50p per key ring from china... never worked properly when needed.
Great deal! Another deal available on CeX - 4 pack (Sealed) for £38 uk.webuy.com/pro…AFA
HUKD, feeding trolls since August 2004.
I work in rural areas and not allowed to leave anything in my work van 3 sets of keys 2 mobiles id ect ect so when you have waterproofs on and off all the time you are always droping somthing heat added this is a must
Not worth £13 imo. Far cheaper knock offs that do the same thing.
Thanks OP But none replaceable battery is a NO NO

I have had the original since it was on the crowfunding start up. On it's third battery now.
To replace, shine a bright light through it so you can see where the battery is, cut a flap in the plastic, lift and replace battery, reset app. Put flap back down, tape up and use flap for future battery changes.

I was under the impression the battery was soldered?

Lapa would be preferable to Tile in my opinion. It’s waterproof and has a replaceable battery.

Yea, although 1632 not 2032 as I originally thought.
Wouldn't a replaceable battery make it more bulky ? Surely one advantage of the integrated battery is that it makes it slim which in my opinion is a good thing.

The Tile pro’s are actually bigger all round than the Lapa. The tile mate slightly thinner (but slightly bigger length and width). The Tile slim is thinner but much bigger length and width. Also the lapa is louder than both the Tile mate and tile slim (not quite as loud as the Pro though).

Having had 4 Tiles I won’t buy another that’s all I can say but then again I haven’t replaced them with anything either but I would have bought the Lapa if it had been readily available at the time.
Wife got one for Xmas. We were out at soft play, got back to car and couldn't find keys. Tried the tile , heard nothing but said the keys were near by so tried going back into soft play. After a but if searching under tables I turned out the hole nappy bag and low and behold the tile and keys were at the bottom. Not sure about the sound insulation properties of pampers but even kids (2 and 4 years) with their hearing didn't hear it, so you know, it's got limitations.

Either way hot for price for one key
