Is this a good mount for he price or am I better spending more for a swivel mount?
i'd say a swivel mount would be less strong as the further you get away from the wall, the more flimsy they are.

The flat against the wall type are the best but this one is fine and can be mounted either tilted or not.

I fitted this a few weeks back, it's good.

I believe the bigger the TV is, the better is to have a fixed one. And certainly, if you have plaster wall, a swivel one will put more pressure on the wall.

I do not have this mount but some advice about tilting mounts.

If you want to have your tv as close to the wall as possible, then do not get a tilting mount.
- I bought a tilting mount and did not like the larger distance between tv and wall. The one I bought was 38mm

This one is 36mmm from the wall

I therefore had to buy a non-tilting mount. The slimmest ones are about 14mm from the wall

14 mm from the wall is great unless your HDMI's face backwards, then you are stuffed.
