I tried on a pair at my local store (to check for fit) where they were selling at about £90. They fitted perfectly, so I ordered off a previous HUKD alert. When they arrived, they were very tight at the big toes, so they had to go back. Mind you, I wasn't too disappointed as I thought the boots looked grand but thought they felt incapable of lasting more than a few months. (edited)

Bought some both this year and last, different style boots however they come up so narrow. Not sure what is going on with timberland but pretty sure their shoes never used to be so narrow fitting (edited)

Bought a similar pair last year, said it was £75 down to £55. The leather is all peeling off and the laces snapped... I've used them a few times per month for short dog walks.

Enquired about exchanging them, they don't offer this and said they would inspect the faults and refund. However I checked the price and it now says RRP is £140 and it's on sale again now to £98... more than the RRP was supposedly in the first place!

Plus there's a delivery fee now, so I'd need to pay another £43 + £4 delivery, almost double what I paid initially... to get the same likely poor quality replacements again. Annoyingly I like the style, but don't know what to do now. Buy new laces and ignore the leather peeling off? Send them back and buy another pair? Buy something completely different from someone else?

When a brand treats you like this just go somewhere else.

Timberland is yet another brand which built up a reputation for good quality over many years then exploited that by charging high prices for mediocre products. Hunter wellies is another excellent example.

Make your judgements based on real quality/price, not a brand name.

Sadly Timberland have gone down in quality and comfort.

I remember when these type of Timberland were £65 at full price and about £35 in the sales.
The sales prices are really the old full selling price.
    Being ripped off here.

    Made of old plastic bottles!

Good for the planet maybe but are they good for feet. Doesn't suggest they are breathable (except for the insole).

Another once great brand trading on their great name from the past? (edited)

As I've said on other threads - be aware Timberland increased at least some of their sale prices last week to accommodate these new discounts. Three items I had in my bag went up around 20 - 25%
