Time Gentlemen, Please DOUBLE PACK 29p FOR TWO STEAM GAMES! + MORE INSIDE

Found 11th Jul 2013
As the title says, two games on steam in a double pack for 29p. Time Gentlemen Please has a metacritic of 84, with some glowing reviews, including a 9/10 from eurogamer.

The overall idea of this is to "highlight" hidden deals of games that will not be in the flash sales that people might otherwise easily miss. I'll try to filter out some tat, but if you feel I've missed anything please feel free to leave a comment and I'll add it to the list.

A lot of these games will be indie so if you purchase them you'll be helping out a lot of small time developers

EDIT: This post was originally about Time Gentlemen, Please double pack, however after a Mod returned my earlier post about cheap games I just thought I'd incorporate it into here. Hope this helps some people!

One of makers of Ben There Dan That/ Time Gentlemen, Please tweeted that he only needs 1 million copies sold for a house. Let's help out! Give him a follow too or tweet him if you've bought it and let him know what you think @danthat

Please comment if you find more gems and I'll post above!

Damn, a Steam deal that I can't reasonably vote cold (given that it's 90% off and isn't a headline deal and thus probably took at least some effort to find).

Soooo I purchased and voted hot!
Its quality, let me know what you think

I actually am still waiting to find the time to fully complete it!
any-one want to go halves on one? :P

Same
This should be up for 2 weeks so don't worry about leaving it for a day

it isn't a daily deal. If it was, perhaps it would be 99% off?

If steam end up adding trading cards to it, trading cards are worth about 15p average, you could actually theoretically end up making money off this.
Thanks
Must be worth 29p. Good find, thanks
This is the kind of Steam sale post I like. One that I would otherwise almost certainly have missed. Well done man! Jolly well done!
I think i paid 79p for this, i liked it so much i donated to the dev.

I did post a massive list of games under £3 which I filtered to recommended games, but the mods deleted it...twice

Quite a lot of stuff in there. Dinner Date is £0.49, dear esther is £1.50.

Basement Collection £0.74 (from team meat, super meat boy/binding of isaac)
Mcpixel is selling very well, has trading cards and is only £0.60 at the moment. Looks a bit like an adult version of warioware
lol now I've bought it via paypal / PP charged me I got receipt but steam store says unexpected error and game is not showing on my account . They've not learnt much in 10 years

I'm gonna wait till tonight to purchase my stuff, or alternatively tommorow morning.

To people who have work etc and have iphones/androids, download the steam app then leave your computer running with steam on.

You can purchase games and remotely tell your PC to download them when you're out. You should have a lot more luck tomorrow morning when the americans are asleep

Yeah like the stuff I've posted at the top will be like that for the next 11 days, daily deals are on till 6pm daily but what they did last year is have them run for 48 hours.
Sorry
The Steam Store is experiencing some heavy load right now. Please try again later...lol that made me giggle, Will try in the morning, cant complain at 29p =S
Cheers, will buy!

Oh man. The beef ones were delicious.
I would advise Strike Suit Infinity. Already a nice price at £1.24 but drops 3 cards at about 20-25p each.
Anyone recommend the best steam games for MAC?

Don't starve is meant to be good, 2D exploration/survival game, quite indie though so you may not get much enjoyment if you aren't a hardcore gamer.
Team Fortress 2 is free and is one of the best shooters around
Hotline Miami is currently £1.74 and is my favourite game this year after last of us, very stylised and violent but the soundtrack makes it.
If you're into strategy you have a choice between Civ 5 Gold edition which has a load of extras for £7.50, or endless space which is basically Civ in space for £9. I'm playing endless space right at the moment after buying it yesterday and it seems very good, I'd recommend Civ 5 for a beginner though.
Legend of Grimrock is a roguelike RPG for about £4, it's pretty good but quite an old style game if you're more into the modern day RPGs.
Football manager 2013 is a steal at £7.50 though! I've got over 500 hours on it, the beauty is being able to play it whilst doing other things like watching tv/movies

Hope that helps. Have an explore around the store there is plenty more, then if you see something you like google a few reviews
Cheers mattturner756, will have a look and grab some, got the hotline miami downloading now!
AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity is £1.60 (77% off)
Been on my wishlist a while - seems worth a pop with 81 metascore

I'm very much looking forward to (and fearing in equal measure) the Linux release of Football Manager 2014 so I can play it in this style (casually windowed). I managed to get somewhat addicted to the mobile version on my tablet just because I could play it while also doing other stuff.
If you're buying Endless Space I would probably go for the Gold Edition which is only slightly more expensive and you get an expansion. I stupidly went for the vanilla version without realising. I read on the Steam Forums that they can help you out if youve done this in error but I haven't had a response from support yet. I imagine they are very busy responding to emails from idiots like me!

Endless space looks pretty good, but I just picked up the Sword of the Stars games (in an indie bundle) recently and probably should play those to decide if I actually *like* the space 4x game genre. By that time it should be much cheaper as well.

I have taken a bit of a gamble on it to be honest. I havent yet played it. I have been playing Civ 5 a lot recently which is apparently a more basic version of a 4x strategy? Ach - I'm sure it will be good
Endless space is really really really good! About 2/3 hours in, enjoying it a lot. I'm a civ veteran. Production values are almost AAA.
I need to grab sins of the solar empire! Been craving space games for a while.

Football manager 14 will be good, it means you could be a "FM box" in your lounge for like 200 quid. Don't need to waste money on windows
Smoking hot! Already owned the games direct from the creators, but it's worth 29p to have them in my Steam library.
Far cry 3 blood dragon is 5.59 on a flash sale - 55% off

Unless you're just going to boycott Ubisoft games you're going to have to suck it up at some stage. I doubt it's going away.
Blood Dragon can be had for a quid on Uplay, just look around on Steamtrades.
