Great price op, nice find, heat added

The mechanical ones are currently in B&M for £1 for a twin pack of Eveready ones if you don't have a lidl near

Thanks very much. Needed one digital one. Great price. Heat added.

Mechanical ones never seem to last, digital one seems the best deal IMHO.

Mechanical ones may seem clunky and old fashioned, but they have some advantages: they're extremely quick&easy to program since you just push down the tabs between the on/off times, and you don't have a limited number of programs like on an electronic switch.

I use a mechanical one to make a lamp by my window switch on and off at various times through the evening when I'm on holiday. (Shhh- don't tell the burglars!)

Get a couple for about 8 quid. That is my plan anyway.

Cheers for pointing this out mate, I've just bought a few to save waiting for LIDL and also the travel.

Any major differences between the lidl and the cpc one? Might buy a few as they seem practical.

Mechanical ones are noisy so not for bedroom or even TV room, but are cheap, reliable and simple. Digital ones are silent and accurate to the second but don't lose the instructions you'll need them.

Just had the ones from CPC arrive. Not tested yet, but they're absolutely HUGE
