Perfect, thanks Rambo
Use UK payments, UK address, not required to use VPN to use the APP once you have paid for international account. Pretty much just need to use VPN to load up the international account purchase page.
So I don’t think I was clear enough with my question. With a VPN connected to the US to sign up for a new subscription I am asked to enter an address. Do people use a decoy mailing address in the US and their PayPal details, or use their UK address and hopes that The Times don’t check that subsequent connections to read the paper on an international subscription are purely coming from UK registered IP address
Everyone I know already has access to a VPN. They are free on here - windscribe
Objectively if you're going through the hassle of setting up a VPN, much more easily you'll set up a paywall buster and get the thing for free
