Amazon have just dropped the price from £35 to match Argos price....... Amazon are always doing this now.

It's a Timex "Expedition" watch, What do you take on expeditions? Luggage. So, it's a very approprate way to look.

Delivery from Amazon 3-6 weeks subject to £20 minimum spend for free delivery. And it really is half price as its clear from the Camelizer that Amazon price matched Argos on July 20th, dropping their price from about £36.

I bet that only expedition this watch will ever see is to thr local pub on Friday.

The reviews aren't great...

If you want this cheaper, remember to run the Amazon price through Bespoke's 'beat my price' thing. You get £2 just for enquiring. You will then potentially get another 10-15% discount from bespoke, plus a further 14% cashback (deal ends tomorrow).

Personally, I would far sooner buy a Casio FW-91A for £5 or so via Bespoke. It's a better watch despite the cheaper price. & it isn't trying to pretend to be anything it isn't. Whereas this Timex is trying to be an adventurer's watch - yet clearly is very cheap looking/feeling.

I agree this watch is crap but I would rather wear this than wear that Casio watch. No idea why wearing cheap and nasty old fashioned Casio watch has become a trend recently.

ok I understand this right u paste a deal that some one will take up then people will popooh it cos they are trying to get u to join sum money saving site or they want a Rolex but don't have the money for 1.
It is a watch it tells the time it won't make you a coffee or take emails. It won't show how rich you are getting off your yacht in Monaco. It's a watch that's been around about 15 years cos that's when I got my first one (my swatch glass broke) it lights in the dark by button and yes it looks like an action man accessory but my second one is still going strong after Florida water parks European holidays and a bike ride to work every day where it's been under lorries and slammed into railings as well as covered in beer and other liquids and it's still going so the spare I bought 2 years ago is still in the box.
So it's not a Rolex but only the bravest/stupidest would wear a Rolex on a bike in London traffic. How's that for an expedition

Yo, rambler, who was talking about Rolex's?!

This is a deals website. Amazon are selling it for the same price....and via Bespoke, you can likely get it for another 25% off!

If you don't subscribe to the idea of saving money on a deals website, then perhaps don't visit deals websites

Timex, utter rubbish, Buy a Casio instead, unpretentious, and the quality is greater by far.

Ok what's your commission for new members dude or are you pushing yours for free first post you mention them twice this time once every body likes a bargain dude but giving them out my details I tend to ever on the side of caution.
As for Rolex it probably the pinicle of most people's watch owning but I'm using it in the context of people slating off a cheaper watch just because it doesn't look pretty enough. My timex has been through the **** and it's still going strong despite being knocked off my bike numerous times.
And as for rambler deals police won't let me say what I think of that so have a nice day instead

Bespoke is owned by Barclaycard...(& I of course don't get commission. I just like to share money saving tips when I find them myself).

The Timex watch looks cheap, and judging by reviews, is cheap. I gave the Casio as an example since it performs better as a watch, for 1/3 the money.

I called you out for rambling because you were bringing up Rolex's when no-one on this thread referenced any other watches (aside from the much cheaper Casio that I suggested!). If you are going to grumble about things, at least make it relevant to what has been said.

Bespoke the Amazon price and either get this Timex for £11 or so, or go for something like the Casio.

Ok looks cheap "like luggage" but also "pretentious" like "an action man accessory" but through personal use (a review) has survived rolling under a lorry.
Bespoke don't actually tell you if you need a Barclay card but they are a credit card company so hey I'm sure they give offers away out of the goodness of their hearts.
You can get the watch for £11 but you don't post that deal instead you popooh the guy who pastes what he thinks is a good deal buy saying buy the Casio instead which I haven't seen you post as a good deal.
Any reason why?if your trying to save Peaple money

Ok, this is turning into an odd conversation.

The Amazon price for the Casio isn't an exceptional price. It isn't a 'deal' as such. However, the Bespoke offers thing that is running at the moment essentially makes ANY Amazon price up to 25% cheaper...

Now your original issue with Bespoke was because you didn't trust giving your details to random companies. I told you it was Barclaycard to reassure you as to the security of your data etc. I (and you) shouldn't care WHY Barclaycard are offering such high cashback....it is just a no-brainer of a deal.

You don't need a Barclaycard to use Bespoke Offers. Any card will do.

I didn't poopoo this deal with regards the price. I simply told people how to get it for 25%+ less.

Any further problems?

I bought this watch about 18 years ago. Still looks the same design.

I didn't have a problem with you in the first place I was simply saying for the money it's a pretty good watch and judging by the two Peaple who liked what I said others like it too you choose to say the Casio was better which I didn't dispute as I don't own one. But if you stand by it and bespoke give a good deal on it why not post it as a deal you may get Peaple poopoohing it but some one may actually appreciate that you took the trouble and we wouldn't be running around in circles

HUKD don't allow us to factor in cashback deals as part of the deals we post. So as I said, the Casio isn't a deal per-se...but it IS once you factor in Bespoke cashback etc.

I wouldn't have had an issue with the things you said if you hadn't talked about Rolex's and what not. Clearly NONE of my contributions have been aimed at saying this Timex is rubbish compared to a £1,000 watch.
I just looked at the reviews and thought it was of interest to see that is described as cheap looking, with a dial that is prone to pulling out (stopping the watch hands from turning).

It's a good price, but I just don't feel it is a good deal when there is a cheaper watch with much better reviews.

good decent watch, but to be honest seen these around the internet around the price £15

Ok point about posts taken as didn't know would it interest you to know that swatch now own/make the internal mechanisms for new Rolex's so if I'd have said a swatch watch we might not have been doing this but some one else might have also the reviews for a £1500 oyster I saw on Amazon recently cited that the hands stopped turning for no reason so he returned it cest la ve huh

Cold for me sorry.http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/multimedia/archive/00771/NIP000123797017_771806b.jpg

"Jesus"now what's a man to do

Ordered, thanks

Amazon delivery 3-6 weeks so reserved at Argos thanks OP.
Just right for a work watch the strap broke on my old one recently.

Dead brands poor quality shadow if itself largely because the plonkers in that picture managed to get the Dundee factory shutdown because of their ridiculous trade union activities.

My last one lasted 20ish years, the analogue part died a few months ago mine has seen many a hill and mountain along its way.

Reading the customer reviews from the Argos website, the main disappointment is the aesthetics which I found surprising to hear for a Timex. Otherwise, I would've purchased the watch for being a good deal.

the £2 thing is through quidco, found it myself last night.

Squint hard enough and it looks like like a TAG

chocking

I bought this watch about 18 years ago. Still looks the same design.

is it still working! if so im buying.

Price now £35.99

EXPIRED!

I bought this about 16 years ago as a cheap watch for work as I didn't want to risk breaking a decent one. It still works fine and I haven't had any problems, its very robust and has taken a few bumps and scrapes. If that's all you need it for its a good buy.
