Don’t understand why people would opt for the 8215 in this at £225, when for a £100 less, you can get it fully in house;

If you’re willing to go grey market (duty free island or creation) it’s yours for ~£110
That's the retail price ..

Sure. But does it have snoopy on the face? People who like watches don't just like them for their technical abilities, but also for how it makes them feel. If you don't feel good wearing a watch, doesn't matter how technically efficient it is. Don't you agree?
It's the Snoopy Undone watches I'm lemming for (by the time I found out about them, they'd long gone). Maybe I'll find one on fleabay one of these days.

I do want a Snoopy watch (maybe it's the years collecting Peanuts paperback books and the animated series from my youth) - not knocking your Deal, there are many people looking out for this coming back in stock.

I even considered getting a Snoopy Invicta if I see one I like (they have Garfield versions, and, everything, really....most of them a bit too garish, as is the Invicta way).

Fair point, though I’ve never understood the clamour for Snoopy or Mickey Mouse plastered dials. I respect we’re all different.

Fair dos. I think it's the nostalgia factor that really appeals here. Good luck

Yeah definitely. I like my Seikos. Though I'd love an Omega Seamaster 300m. Or even a Tudor black Bay 36. Quite different watches but hey, that's what makes this great!
Hopefully they aren't still using the crappy automatic mechanism of yore? I purchased a vintage Marlin and quickly realised why nobody bothered preserving/keeping this... their mechanical internals were designed with planned obsolescence in mind.

I think they're using a more robust Japanese Miyota movement as opposed to a cheaper Chinese movement. So should be pretty solid.
The dial on this is acrylic and scratches unbelievably quickly. I own the black Marlin with gold markings. I've mislaid it somewhere but am not overly bothered as the face looks crappy and marked after just a few (gentle!) wears

Will the scratches not polish out with Polywatch?, that's a plus of acrylic that scratches can be polished away.
Thank you, ordered
