3261436.jpg3261436.jpg3261436.jpgThe images below (in more natural lighting) come from here - this is a stretch bracelet - but you could swap it out! According to Newegg, lug width is 20mm.

As far as I can see, it has a Stainless Steel back and bracelet.

The easy-reader style and extendable bracelet would be ideal for an elderly relative - or a beater watch to wear at work.3261436.jpg3261436.jpg3261436.jpg3261436.jpg
  • Two-tone round watch featuring Arabic markers with 24-hour military time, date window at 3 o'clock, and INDIGLO nightlight
  • 39mm brass case with mineral dial window
  • Quartz movement with analog display
  • Two-tone stainless steel expansion band
  • Water resistant to 30m (99ft): In general, withstands splashes or brief immersion in water, but not suitable for swimming 3261436.jpg

Hey LL is there a way to search for Amazon Global Shipping items? Can't see any obvious filter other than Amazon Global Store but then this watch is a no show...or is that because its OOS? I'm silly!
£12 great price cheers Louise.
For those like me waiting to spend $20 amazon gift balance (thanks to a hukd deal) this is what you were waiting for. Bought 3 for $25 using voucher.

Not that I know of (a way to search for all items - including 3rd party sellers - shippable to the UK). Weirdly, yes, this watch doesn't appear here (Timex > Low-High) but it does show on the official Timex page under Sale about halfway down.

There are two listings for this, 3rd Party Seller Flying Fashion has this watch for $34.99 (edit: actually, that's the TW2P76500 Womens' version - says 40mm though, so, not sure if the listing has errors - likely, being Amazon).

Another Edit: Different bracelet for that TW2P76500 as well, though, eg, not extendable (I was just about to head to bed)!

You will have a poor exchange rate in the first place, but I'm not sure. Best thing to do is get something like a Halifax Clarity card and you never have to worry ever again when things like this come up. I use mine on holiday, but out of that I use it every month for certain subscriptions in foreign currency and maybe a handful of deals like this a year.
you cant go much wrong with a Timex good watch

Indeed. I ordered it.

I prefer a perpetual movement

I got the "Intelligent Quartz" Timex from the other day, wow, it is LOUD. The only other loud ticker of a watch I have is a Rider/Rodina Bauhaus with a Seagull movement. Suppose if you're very sensitive to noise and flail your arms next to your ears in bed (which I do sometimes) it might get annoying. You wouldn't hear it in an office or anything but it's noticeable at closer quarters.

Never seen a clear explanation why Timex watches can be so noisy, apart from mutterings about Chinese movements.

I remember when the Timex factory in Dundee made Sinclair computers (yes, I'm getting on a bit)

The ZX81 was called the Timex-Sinclair 1000 in the US, as well.

Yes me too
Not to my personal taste, bit that doesn't stop this from being a stoater of a deal!

Love the indiglo on the analogue watch

Party's over - went up to $21. Though I have seen listings for this elsewhere around 2 days ago (when I was trying to gather images, etc) - and the price seems to fluctuate. So I'll keep my eyes peeled.

This 1960s advert tells us Timex watches were $9.95, we're almost time-travelling (though, watches back then would be mechanical). Actually, there's loads of these Timex-endurance-type (US) ads on Youtube!

This was $7 as well, apparently, but, missed it! amazon.com/dp/…DNC

Shame the other thread has been nuked (it was $7 for a while around 1am) but may be worth keeping an eye on.

As far as I can tell, the price has been going up and down ($7 being the lowest) for a few days, at least.

The price for the TW2P89300 Easton Avenue Watch was approx £9.55 for a few hours - back up to $21 again, like yesterday.

$10 yet again!
Yo-yo-ing yet again! $7 now, folks

If you didn't see my previous (now-deleted) thread, as this is still Temporarily Out Of Stock, you can cancel and re-order for the cheaper price.
Edited by: "louiselouise" 13th Jul
Cheers Louise cancelled my other order and got this at a better price.
Do you think these orders will be honoured.

Same as with any Amazon Temporarily Out Of Stock, it may get delivered soon, it may take weeks/months, it may get cancelled. No way of knowing.
As ever, this is going up and down between $21, $10 and $7 today - was probably doing the same yesterday but I was out

You know the drill by now. If you really want it, keep "watch" ing!
Think this is kaput now - no Amazon listing there at all. Expired
Nearly a month later and mine still hasn't budged...
This is weird. Check your emails? I got an "Approval required for your Amazon dot com order" email.

Maybe Amazon US have a different system to the UK.
38247282-4DwGz.jpgPeeking at my Orders, this one says "Approval Needed" (or they cancel the order, it seems). Maybe something they do automatically for orders with a long delivery time?

So, if you still want this, hit the Approval button.

Edit: Hitting the Approval button generated this email
"Thanks for approving the delay in your order #XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
We appreciate your patience, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Please note that we don't charge you for an item until we're ready to ship it. On the day we ship your order, we'll send you an e-mail message confirming its contents and the shipping method."

Order cancelled
Received cancellation email today. 😡
Oh, that's so annoying!! I chased this up over a week ago. Not sure if it's worth complaining about (sometimes Amazon UK offer "compensation" for cancelled orders). Will likely only be about $6.
Sorry, all
